Can these just be used for basic pc use?

You do not need an Amp for DT 770 Pro 80 ohms. I use them daily on my IMAC with no problems.. The 32 ohms will also work. But 80 ohms will work just fine on a PC.

Will these work with xbox?

Technically they will work, however anything above 40-50 ohms, you'll probably want an amp to make these sound their best. These ones in particular are 80 ohms, so a controller output might make these a bit too quiet for games.

Is the cable detachable?

At this price point? No way. The Beyerdynamic headphones that these are a knock off of don't even have detachable cables.
