Portable Shelving Luggage, RISE gear Roller, Blue

The roller bag is the same as their other bag, the shelving doesn't have support so once you load in t-shirts or under garments it will sag, that's just the way it works or you wouldn't be able to get the shelves to compress down into the bag portion. The concern I have is how long will it all last.Now the big issue with this particular model and only this model, it's a roller bag but once loaded for 3 to 4 days you're hard pressed to get it into an overhead. I had to do some last minute engineering to re-compress my bag to get it into the overhead on a 737 (a newer version with larger overheads). It's a bit larger than it should be for that purpose so be aware.Now if you're going to travel with it in the car for a weekend, highly recommended. The bag handle (not roller handle) is awkward in that it really doesn't have a place to go, if it were to be redesigned so that it can fold better into the bag it would help with the issue of being too big for an airline overhead.The really nice thing is that this bag has a lower zip compartment where you can place your suits or other garments like shoes that you don't want them all over your clothes. Again the issue remains, once loaded it expands in a big way and that can be an issue.If there is a better "airline sized" roller (which is hard to determine from the Rise Gear website) it may be a better option but for now it lost 1 star.

I honestly can't figure out how i've lived without this.I travel 100% of the time. And this is the greatest thing ever for someone who travels. I don't fly much, i'm mostly a car traveler so i can't say how it does for overhead bins and such but i can say that when you get to the hotel, and hang it up it's the greatest thing ever. So much better for packing and living during the week. It has 3 shelves and 3 pockets on the sides. Under the clothes part is another zipper and it has a bunch more storage for shoes or long term stuff you won't be needing every day. If i had a complaint it would be that the side pockets have no separation to organize the other things i put in my bag. A couple more mesh pockets w/ zippers to sort my toiletries, phone chargers, a book, that kinda stuff. If it had that it would be perfect.

I'm a DOD civilian working in Afghanistan, so I do a lot of traveling. I can't speak for everyone who has purchased this, but I personally love this suitcase. As long as you aren't being ridiculous with the product, it will do exactly what you expect it to. I traveled around the UK for three weeks with this (in addition to using it to store all my clothes in Afghanistan). I've had no issues that you wouldn't already expect from this purchase. I would definitely recommend this to a new buyer.PROS:- Keeps items organized while traveling- Unpacking taken care of for youCONS:- As another user stated, the fabric does look like it can be easily broken, but if you aren't overpacking the suitcase and don't throw it around, it will work just fine for you.Note: Please keep in mind that just because the shelves unfold doesn't mean there's more room. You have the same amount of room (and possibly less) than you would with another suitcase of the same size that doesn't unfold into shelves. Because of the shelving idea, you'll have slightly LESS room. However, most should be able to make this work.

My husband and I ordered 2 of these since we will be traveling in a small van for the next year. We needed something to easily carry in and out of hotels each day. We've only used these for 2 weeks, but they are working for what we wanted. The problem has been finding a place to hang 2 of these in a hotel room. We have unzipped the wheel section to make the bag lighter. The storage area in this compartment wasn't easily accessible anyway. The shelves sag in the middle, not straight as the sample photo shows. I'm hoping the stress areas will hold, but will have to see after we've used them for awhile.

It serves my travel purpose and contains vital stuffs I need while travelling. Unlike what some people said, this bag is made of strong materials and is cute. I love it. My friends love it and are ordering.

Workmanship is very poor. I have used the luggage 3 times and I keep on having to resew the suitcase back together. It is only 5 months old. Great idea for the product. Just poor workmanship.

Used this on a 7 day Cruise. Worked Great!!! Hung in closet, no unpacking, used bottom as a clothes hamper..... Also, able to carry straight on the ship.... I did not have to check and wait on luggage to arrive..... Great luggage and Great Concept!!!!!

Great bag, love the organization of it! My only gripe is the bottom of it gets marked up when using it on the ground to pull it along. Would suggest harder or durable material for the fabric around that area.

... quand on de veut pas tout sortir ou retourner à chaque hôtel. très adapté pour les penderies (voir photo) même si c'est lourd quand c'est chargé !ça reste un principe d'accordéon, donc ne pas trop charger chaque étage sinon ça ne fermera pas. on peut ensuite passer le linge salle vers l'espace du bas (vu qu'on libère du volume au dessus)les poches à chaque bout sont pratique pour le matériel de toilette et assez volumineuses, idem pour la poche sur la longueuril a bien résisté à un premier aller-retour aux USA avec en prime des escales en train sur place (sur 4600Km), des escalier, des trottoirs...

It seems sturdy but it is VERY heavy and probably wouldn't work with some closets. I was scared to use it some places. It's pretty useless if you don't have a closet to hang it in.
