After noticing my RV Gelcoat was getting dull I used a bottle of this restorer wax on my Montana Fifth wheel and the results were nothing short of amazing! I applied with a buffer pad and then polished with a microfiber rag. The Gelcoat oxidization was removed about 95% on the first application and has kept its shine for over a year. This stuff is amazing! I just bought my second bottle and am prepping for my next wax job.

My 24 year old faded and oxidized Campion 225 was brought back to brilliant shape with this product. I have never found a better resto wax than this Star Brite. Easily twice as effective as ANY other brand. Worth every penny and goes a long long way. Did the entire boat from keel to cabin, by hand and with a buffer. 2 passes and I still have 1/4 bottle left.

A good heavy compound wax. Brought the shine back to my old fiberglass boat.

Star Brite is a USA company and has been making boat waxes and polishes for many years. This stuff does not disappoint. It goes on easily (I used an electric rotary buffer) and comes off just as easily with a dry microfiber cloth or towel. The photos I've attached are after ONE coat of Star Brite, applied in 52F weather in the NE US. Not ideal weather for application of a restorer wax (early May, wanted to get at least one coat on before a planned fishing trip the week I posted this review), but it still worked really well and left a nice gloss afterward. I will probably apply another coat or two once the weather warms up for the long-term, followed by some Star Brite polish. Another couple coats followed by a polishing should result in a much deeper gloss. The first coat made a noticeable difference, removing a substantial amount of oxidation on my 2008 Bayliner Bowrider. I bought this boat used this year, and my guess is that it hasn't been waxed or polished in many years, perhaps since around the time the boat was new in 2008. On the upside, the boat was trailered by the previous owner, so there wasn't a lot of staining or any grime that had to be removed. I did wash the boat with car wash soap and rinsed with a pressure washer prior to application of this Restorer wax. Definitely apply after the surface has been cleaned and dried, or it will be tougher to remove and may spread on too thin. If you're using an electric rotary buffer, which makes life easier, put 4 small drops on the buffer pad, then rub onto a small square area of the boat. Work a 3 ft x 3 ft section at a time and go over the area you're waxing in a perpendicular direction to ensure the wax is spread on evenly. I used a fairly low speed on my rotary buffer. Wait a few minutes for the haze to form, then buff off with a dry microfiber cloth. Great restorer wax, seems to work as advertised. Definitely recommend especially if your boat has a good deal of oxidation and has lost a lot of its shine.
