I installed and used the plastic version for many years but when I changed the door I decided to upgrade the doggie door. This is a high quality product and it was not too difficult for semi skilled person to “do it yourself “ install. I also bought a spare replacement door flap since they do wear out after a few years. My dog seems to really love the freedom of being able to use the door.

La puerta esta bien construida, cumple su funcion y el diseño es delgado y estetico. Tiene una guia para el tamaño de corte de la puerta y es facil de instalar ya teniendo el espacio donde irá. Los tornillos son de plastico para que facilmente puedas recortar el sobrante y no queden salidos, pero si tienes las herramientas de corte recomendaria comprar de metal para mayor soporte y durabilidad. A veces la solapa deja huecos pequeños por lo que buscaria otra opcion si vives en clima extremo y necesitas controlar la temperatura del hogar.
