SodaStream 1L Slim Metal Carbonating Bottle, Single

I unfortunately put my AirSoda bottle in the top section of my dishwasher, thinking that it would be OK. Of course, I should have read the note saying NOT to do that. Most of the replacement bottles on Amazon do not allow returns, so I was afraid to order one, in case it wouldn't work in my machine. However, this one allowed returns, so even though it was more expensive, I felt I would not be out the money if it didn't fit. It does fit, perfectly, and other than the SodaStream logo on the bottle, looks pretty much just like the original bottle. If anyone else has AirSoda, and is getting tired of waiting for them to come out with their own bottles for sale, you can rely on this bottle to fit your AirSoda.

Like the slim design. Fits better into cup holder. And if dropped on the metal lid it didn't brake.

The stainless is a thin shield around the Sodastream bottle base and cap. The bottle is still made of plastic, the base is still plastic, with a stainless cladding layer covering it. The cap is still plastic, but also with a stainless cladding layer wrapped around it as well. I have dropped the bottle more than once with no negative consequences. A similar standard bottle shattered its base when it was dropped. It is pricey, but for heavy or rough use, I love it. It also feels more solid in my hand and looks far classier. If you want to put Sodastream out for guests, it looks good on a cocktail bar.

I can't figure out why these bottles are expensive BUT they work beautifully with the Soda Stream machine. They look great. They are tough. I carry it with me everywhere. I like the clear so I can see it's clean and the silver likes nice with everything.

It looks nicer than the black plastic bottle that came with my Revolution , and it isn't nearly as prone to tipping over as the black bottles. The cap is substantial-feeling, and doesn't get lost as easily. But, the bottom steel cap pops off constantly. I don't know if this is by design, but it happens fairly often. In the grand scheme of things, I guess that's good, because if you have any overflow, it will run right down the side and collect in the bottom cap until you empty it. I'm not sure I'd call that more of a feature than just sealing the cap in the first place. In any case, it's a nice product, and reasonably priced. If you can't make use of the two-pack of plastic bottles, or want something that looks nice on the table, it's a decent value.

This is a high quality item. The top seals easily and fully. The thick plastic material looks like it would stand up to whatever abuse some people might be apt to throw at it, and it inserts into the Soda Stream machine perfectly.

I have a soda stream maker by Aarkle and needed to replace it after someone ruined it in the dishwasher. It’s a third of the price of the Aarkle bottle and the only difference is the name on it. Excellent value and quality.

Solid, pleasant to look upon, and the finish hasn't oxidised or got scratched or anything even after a few months of frequent use. I'll buy more if I ever need them.

Watch out for the expiry: Mine had only a remaining usage period of 11 months; normal would be around 5 years. Surface appeared to be quite worn out for a new item. . . . Product returned.
