I bought one several years ago. I must have dropped it 20 times because I clip it to my pants while working around the house and want to remind myself that I have something in the oven. Each time it hits the floor, I expect the batteries to come flying out and the thing to break. It doesn't. It loves abuse. I bought a second one so I can have one on the fridge and one when I'm in the yard. Loud, persistent, flashes, and vibrates like crazy--the perfect timer for an old man.

Great timer! Has everything one could want---minutes/seconds, hours/minutes. Easy to set, nice appearance, nice ring tone, light, vibrator. Also has a clip so you can take it with you and a magnet so you can keep it near the stove. Best one that has all these features!

I bought this timer to use during my meditation practice because I don’t want to have to mess around with my phone when it’s dark in the morning (I like to keep it in airplane mode while I’m meditating and doing my kriya). I get up around 2:30 or 3:00 AM for sadhana, and it’s really nice to have the option to use a flashing light or a vibration to mark the end of my meditation rather than an abrasive chime or beeping from a phone. I also use it to time my kriyas when I’m doing Kundalini yoga, you can quickly enter the time and clear it for all of the different postures you’re doing so you’re not wasting time fumbling around with your phone or some crazy interval app that’s not so easy to program. There’s also a little clip on the back of the timer, so you could clip it to your clothes if you want, there’s a magnet for your fridge if you want to use it in the kitchen, and you can click the clip open all of the way and it acts as a little stand where the timer will stand upright on its own. This is a really great timer, the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I think it’s a little too expensive for what it is.

This timer is excellent for me as a teacher of the deaf and hard of hearing. I love that I can control how it announces itself (silent, light only, vibration only, beeping only, or any combination of the above). SO helpful to only need to carry one little item that suits the varied needs of my students and the way we work together.

Three alarm options which can be separately selected or all run at once: a beep-beep-beeper, a flashing red light, and a vibration mode. Using just the red light makes for a silent alarm that won't disturb everyone in the area. Very easy to set and clear. After MUCH use over a couple years the alarm functions cease to work, but that takes a looong time to happen. The timer has a small fold-out prop stand and a magnet in the back. Over time, the glue on the magnet always lets go but a dab of epoxy or SuperGlue can fix that.

Too big. Doesn’t stay clipped to clothing or laptop. If you put it in your pocket, expect it to accidentally shut off when you push the button while walking.

I like the simple design of the device. I use it for timing work breaks (pomodoro tomato system) and meditation sessions. So I would say I use this daily to time 5+ minute sessions up to 10 times or more. It works pretty well and I will likely continue using it until it stops working. The vibration is decently strong to catch your attention when it vibrates against a table or metal surface. I don't use the light function as much, so can't say much there. Same with the actual sound as it's a bit distracting/too jarring for my use and purposes. I've had my device for almost 10 months and just recently, the hours/minutes switch button (what switches it from hours/minutes to minutes/seconds) stopped working properly on my device. I could feel the click of the switch yet the display would not change. I ended up opening up the device/screws to set the switch correctly. (This could be due to wear / tear but i don't switch this that often, so i assume it's because the plastic switch is weak). Given how this is, I will have to either open up the device now whenever i need to make this switch or just keep it on minutes/seconds.
