I would ever like the material to be a little bit thicker, but this is a very solid product that does exactly what It's intended. Picks up, normal noise, and high quality signal.

The cable gives new life to an old PC headset with separate microphone and speaker 3.5mm jacks. The order includes not one but two cables in case one doesn't work or work well. Good value!

The package arrived on time and actually had two (2) audio splitters! TWO! So, I got an extra one and they both work great! :)

Did not work on my phone, did not work on my Surface, did not work on my USB headset. No matter what the mic line would not work.Even more frustrating though is that one of mine must have been faulty, because now the audio jack on my phone is busted. After plugging in the cable for the first time, the phone acted erroneously as if it were receiving signals to change volume, play music, etc. The cable did not pick up input, but rather managed to break my audio jack so bad that not only does it lose the left and right speakers for whatever is plugged in, it also ended up breaking the plug on my favorite headset. ZaxSound can shove it.

This adapter works perfectly for my needs -- to use a small, condenser shotgun mic with my LG G4 phone. I could not monitor while recording, but I am sure that is a function of the phone and not of the adapter since playback through the adapter is just fine.

I bought this device so as to be able to connect my Sony ECM-CS3 lavelier mic to my laptop. My experience is.Everything came as described by seller. It allows me to be able to connect my clip mic to my laptop or mobile phone. Unfortunately, it drops the audio quality of my recordings significantly, which is something I am not able to put up with. But overall it is worth the price because it actually does its job of connecting as I mentioned earlier. However, I wouldn't recommend for audio recording purposes but for basic stuff, it's perfect.
