I got this press for Memorial Day weekend smash burgers and it did a fantastic job! I used it along with parchment paper and was pleased with the results. The design of this hamburger press is solid. It's lightweight, easy to use, and everything you need is there right out of the box. The press itself is made from a thin piece of metal that’s been punched out and riveted to a handle—not the heaviest-duty construction. That said, it worked just fine for making burgers and did exactly what it was intended to do. My only concern is how long it will hold up over time. For now, though, it’s a good value for the price.

I didn’t think I needed this until I got one, now I use it all the time. It smashes our burgers evenly and quickly while cooking, way better than a spoon or spatula. This press works great for bacon, sausage, burgers and anything else you may want to keep flat to the heat. Easy cleanup. It's heavy enough for bacon, but sausage and burgers might require a bit of pressure to get the desired thickness.
