It is Thicker than expected. Fits snug on head. Large is perfect for a medium dog. Might be a bit warm if left on for a long time. Bought it for thunderstorms and fireworks. I am sure it will dull sounds

We use this cover for our frenchie’s ears during bath time and when we go hunting. Our dog’s ears are floppy (they don’t stand upright like normal frenchies) so it’s very comfortable for him to wear. He never tries to take it off. It stops water getting in his ears when we’re bathing him, which is huge because the is prone to ear infections. It dries quickly.It also offers good noise protection when we’re shooting, he never reacts to the noise when he has this on.

This item does exactly what I hoped for, protects my dog’s ears during a blow dry so he doesn’t get upset. Seems to be good quality and should last a long time. I find it a bit pricey for what it is.
