How is the Activ Flyer is different from Aerobie?

The Aerobie is a fantastic product. The Aerobie flies much further and faster, making it tougher to catch. The Activ Flyer is best for shorter distances of 15-30 feet and floats at a slower pace, making it much easier to catch, so you spend more time playing and less time chasing after your Aerobie. The Aerobie also doesn't float in water, in fact we lost one of ours in the ocean last time we played with it at the beach. The Activ Flyer floats in the air and water :-)

Is this product durable?

While they certainly can break if you are extremely rough or try to break them, Activ Flyers are good for years under normal use. While not recommended you try, Activ Flyers have survived being run over by car tires without breaking.Dog teeth will damage this product very quickly, which is why the product box says, "Not suitable for dogs". Besides that, have fun. It is recommended you store your Activ Flyer flat to avoid warping. If it does develop a wobble in flight, simply place your Activ Flyer on a flat surface on a warm sunny day or gently warm it with hair dryer and let it cool and the warping/wobble disappears. If you play with this product on asphalt or it lands repeatedly on rough, hard surfaces, it may experience scratches on the outside bottom edge. The Activ Flyer will still be fine to use and fly great, but if you want to keep it smooth, gently apply some fine grit sandpaper to regain its smooth edge. The white paint on the top side of the Activ Flyer with the lettering and graphics is quite durable but can get scratched if you throw it upside down (not recommended) or you pile things on top of it in your car trunk. Scratches to the white paint are solely aesthetic though and do not affect the performance of your Activ Flyer.No matter how you spell it (frisbee, frisby, frisbie, frysbee, frisbey or frysby) you'll love the Activ Flyer.

What is the diameter of the frisbee?

Thanks for your question! The outside diameter is 9 5/8".In case you're curious, the inside diameter of the hollow center is 6 1/2" and the width of the ring is about 1 1/2".

Lots of fun!

They are light and easy to toss and catch. More manageable than a frisbee. Both adults and kids had lots of fun with them! Kids also had fun putting them on their heads like hats and on their arms like bracelets. Highly recommend.

These are "giveaway " quality frisbees... **UPDATE**

April, 2021 UPDATE:Yet another frisbee splintered. Again, just a regular "catching-a-frisbee" motion. These are really over-priced and not the sturdiest things but fun nonetheless. We like to stack several of them and then throw them out to a group of players. Or to one person who tries to swoop up as many as possible before they fall.Anyway, I think we'll stick to the unbreakable Aerobie from now on.**EDITED REVIEW**After I left my original review, the seller reached out to me and replaced the frisbees at no charge. They said the splintering should not have happened. So I upgraded from 2 stars to 4 for customer service and the fact that I actually really like these frisbees!If the new set remains intact after a summer of use I'll come back and give a full 5!--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------You know the free swag you get everywhere? These frisbees are those. Slightly larger than the giveaway version but flimsy and cheap-feeling.BUT! We had a blast with them as they are easy to throw and catch.HOWEVER! One of ours just splintered during a simple game of catch. Nothing crazy with the amount of force used. It just cracked at the edge and splintered off.<Sad face.>*Maybe* I would pay five bucks for a pair? Not more.

Fun!

So fun and they fly so well. Perfect for younger kids who may not know how to throw a frisbee, but fun for adults too! And they don’t hurt if they hit you, lol.
