If you wanted to put this kit together with professional connectors you would pay approximately $26/connector or $104/ kit.I've tested this product against professional connectors and here is what I found.This product has significant power loss starting at 1GHz (1000MHz). I tested these connectors up to 4GHz which is the typical upper limit for BNC connectors. There was over a 5dBm power loss at 4GHz. This is no problem for the hobbyist or like I've seen in the comments a ham radio operator; however, this is NOT for a professional microwave/RF engineer.The threads and actual connections on this product are fine. They connect well and are tight. The material is cheaper and the dimensional accuracy isn't quite as good as professional connectors. Hence, the degraded performance at and above 1GHzOverall, I am not knocking this product too much. It is great for hobby work and you do not have to pay professional prices. I recommend this product for hobby work.
