Teaching my daughter metaphysics and this is such a great book to teach with. Full of the information that matters, clear, and descriptive. Truly love this book. If you want to learn and be inspired by the basics of the chakra system this book assists in setting a foundation of truly understanding what it’s all about. Worth every cent.

This book is straight to the point and super informative.

I purchased this excellent book in 2019. Thorough, yet easy to read and understand it's a bargain at $10. Now I can open and access ALL my chakras through meditation but it did take a while to master! Highly recommend.

WONDERFUL resource for all things Chakra! Lots of info on the historical, medical, cultural and religious applications of the chakras, how to identify and balances auric energies. Often refers both forward and backward in the text, so if you are brand new to the subject you may need to hop around frequently to gain an understanding of the references made by the writer. This is a technical and comprehensive guide for the newbie, and a great quick reference for the practitioner.

I use this book for summary reports following a tuning session: particularly the Main Characteristics At A Glance tables for each of the seven main chakra's. Information in the book is written in easily understandable language for the novice in energy healing, such as I am. Charts are convenient for quick reference. Illustrations very good. Introducing the subject, Mercier includes historic and explanatory information; good to know for background knowledge and further study. Nice Glossary and Index for quick finds. Generally, I just like the way this book feels in my hands. I would still like to have an e-Book, which is not currently available. RECOMMENDED.

This is a must have book if you are just getting into and working with chakras. It goes over the brief history of chakras, where they are located, and theories. It gives you deity representations in the Hindu pantheon for each chakra. It gives you lists of stones to calm, balance, and activate each chakra. It also gives you yoga positions for each chakra. It varies between each chakra but they have exercises you can do for example, in the third eye chakra (it might be throat) section there is this guided candle meditation you can do. It is just packed with info. Must read for anyone interested in working with chakras!!! Blessed Be!!!!

This is a great book, and I've learned a lot from it. Like the other "Bibles" I've read, It's well written, easy to ready and very informational. It's a great start for anyone looking to learn more about Chakras and energy healing. With photos and visual references, it makes it that much easier to learn. I was really impressed, and I'll be buying more in the future. There's a lot to like about this book, and I'm very happy with my purchase!

WOW! Very informative! There is a lot of great information in this book! If you are wanting to learn about the Chakras or you are somewhat of an expert, there will be plenty to learn here. I think "Definitive Guide" explains it accurately. After just browsing through it for 30 minutes it is clear that this is a comprehensive work that will lead one on a fantastic journey of metaphysical insight into the subtle energies of our mind, bodies and spirit.
