One...Two...Three...Sassafras! (MathStart 1)

Great book for teaching math concepts. Students loved this book.

This book by Stuart Murphy is a wonderful book to introduce ordinals and/or number sequence. I read it to my class and they really got the concept. This book is cute and my students continue to read it.

It is a book for the order of numbers but it is not typical of how we teach number order in kindergarten. We teach straight through counting, skip counting. This book uses numbers from 6 to 11. It is hard for children to EASILY see number order. It was not one of my favorite math start books
