Fly problem will be no problem with this bait around. While the smell of the bait isn't pleasant, I assume that is what makes it draw the flies. This quart jar filled very fast after placing this bait, I did have to add more water as the flies piled up. I put one in the garden area and another close to the porch, where we spend the majority of our time outdoors.. Very effective and I order refills of the bait to keep my summer fly free. Yes, it's gross to empty and refill, I was trying to save money by reusing, but you can dispose of the whole thing.

This works right away. Fills up quickly - flies are drawn to it. It stinks though so be sure to put it away from where you’ll be hanging out. We have used this product for years because flies are drawn to our garbage cans which we keep near the porch. We put these at opposite ends of the yard to draw flies away from our sitting area.

I love this. Flies flock to it. No idor. When it dried out I add some water. Lasts until it fills up.

These work great! It was unbelievable how many flies and how quickly it filled up. The smell is like a dead carcass, so you won't want it too close or where the wind can blow the scent in your direction. The other big thing is it attracts the flies so well, that more and more come. So I feel I would be better off without it, as I want the flies gone, not coming to the terrible scent. I kept the jars far enough away, so the flies were not in my sitting area; however, they were still around. I won't buy this or anything similar again.Do they work? Absolutely! If you purchase, get extra bait. Emptying them is no fun. lol

After careful reading the reviews I took the chance to purchase. It as easy to use and served it’s purpose. You can see the flies mount up over time which does not take long at all. The only disgusting thing is the visual of all the flies and maggots NOT TO MENTION the SMELL!!!! It smells like something DIED & ROTTED where’s we it’s stored or placed. The directions recommend emptying the container and tossing the flies where I have no idea. I would not and I have not, I only tossed the ENTIRE container in the garbage not without securing them in three tight nit bags because the smell is beyond my comprehension
