Just works
Not much to say super easy to use just plug it in and it works. Had no issues with lag the audio sounds pretty sweet. Used with Xbox series and obs.

Capture card
It's a pretty good capture card. Just me to learn how to use. It makes a buzz in the sound though. When you hook up the headphones and controller, but when you collect set audio to default, it fixes that issue on the software. So more than likely it's just a bug in the software that they'll probably patch over time. I'm hoping other than that, it's a pretty good capture card. It's better than all the other ones I have

Absolutely AMAZING Capture Box by ASUS.
Hello Amazon!I have been a Twitch Streamer going on 5 years, and I had originally been running a Elgato HD60 Pro. Granted, there is nothing wrong with that, but I must say ASUS stepped up the game!Pros : Firstly, there is not any bloatwear that you have to run the capture box with, OBS picks up this ASUS Capture Box straight up with just plugging it in! No unnecessary slowdowns or stupid programs to run it through!Secondly, the build quality is fantastic! Solid metal casing, making it very durable for transporting if ever needed!Thirdly, I use this for a PS5, and the output is ran through to a 4K MINI-LED 240Hz panel. As I said, I have been streaming for many years, and I can truly say, this is the only capture device I have used that I truly felt ZERO latency! You can do some fine tuning in OBS for sound, toucb, and feel and it is absolutely fantastic!!Fourth, WHO DOESNT LOVE RGN NOWADAY?!?!CONS:The only con I had, was at first the sound was having an issue. The issue was that OBS was playing the sound back a solid 3 seconds late, in the end, it was just a simple click of changing the sound settings in OBS directly and it fixed it 100%For the price, it CANNOT be beat. Extremely well made product, and I would recommend this to ANYONE who content creates, or even just wants a nice way of connecting your console to your computer for a PASSTHROUGH.WELL DONE ASUS! 10/10!Twitch - MustangEd1ts

Terrible decision
Bought this capture card and after maybe a month of use it was faulty, not even after heavy use. The audio is always delayed and jittery. For the price just buy an Elgato HD 60 S+ it is worlds more reliable than this. Which is a shame because I wanted it to be good for 4K 120 FPS

Check your cables
4 stars since it does what it's advertised to do, but I had one glaring issue and it was the usb cable that was provided. Apparently for my system it does just enough to power it so that the passthrough works but obs could not pick it up as a video capture device. So an entirely different high speed USB C cable I had on hand solved this issue, just a heads up to anyone who runs into this wall.

Works Great Clear Video Transfer and Seemless Set Up! Love it!
Works Great Clear Video Transfer and Seemless Set Up! Love it! Took about 2 minutes to set up, its compact so hardly takes up any room. Looks great. Nice solid metal body. Lights are great style and indicator. Im so happy I went with this one vs some of the others that had complaints. I was worried its sort of a big purchase ( comparative to other capture cards). But I am certainly glad I didn't cut any corners with this one. Its a great product well worth the money. IMO.

Issues right from the start
this is for pc:1st, this is non powered in the sense that your monitor will not work unless it is plugged into another computer and that computer is turned on. there are only instructions for simple connecting in, nothing else. I literally had to go on google and search for additional help. It created a 3rd virtual monitor (I have 2 already), which I mirrored the 2nd monitor to the virtual that I already had plugged in thru displayport, so it would stay on. Initially it showed up on laptop I was streaming to but you can't do anything else like capture the actual game window. Only the entire monitor. It was not as smooth as I'd like and seemed a lil laggy. When I started to try and test further or configure it, I immediately got an HDCP error with 2 brand new HDMI 2.1 cables in. I was not streaming anything that fell under that category. Between those 2 things that were annoying off the bat and no instructions and knowing Asus's TERRIBLE support (although their products are good, but I cannot reiterate how BAD their support is), I decided this wasn't a rabbit hole I felt like navigating. I have 2 RMAs open w/ Asus already and they have NEVER even responded to those. So back in the box it goes. I am starting to veer away from Asus lately now which makes me sad because I absolutely love their products but I cannot continue to support a company that has zero regard for their customers in the support area. Yes, you can get ahold of them fairly easily, but good luck ever getting anything out of them back. Case in point, power supply brand new that had 24 pin with one cable actually out. got ahold of support, i said no rma, just give me the link to purchase b/c i know support won't do anything. They didn't have one. They literally sell a product and you better not have any issues because they do not have replacement cables. Instead they use cablemod. that cable was $70. So their issue, no word from them, not resolved, and you can't even purchase cables like every other brand. same with a motherboard. luckily i knew they weren't going to help and I overnighted one from Amazon, and guess what, it's been nearly a year and not a word from them. I had to reach out 3x and request a case number b/c they had no record of my first 2 support chats. Still, expedited service, and no contact since. I don't know what is going on with them, but I cannot reiterate how terrible their support is. It's time to move on from these types of companies.

Works for new and old gen game systems!
Step by step:Download Video Capture Console from Asus website.Plug device in and go to update, mine needed a USB firmware update out of box.Done.You need USB 3.0, and it gets warm but nothing major. I'm very happy with this purchase thus far, it's been easy to use and seems very solid with the metal frame. RGB's are a cool effect, they tell you the "status" of the device (red-bad, blue-good, yellow-update).This works for Older devices from PS1-5, Snes, N64, and newer xbox.
