Neutrogena The Transparent Facial Bar Original Formula, 3.50 oz (Pack of 3)

Excellent soap which protects my skin from winter dryness when compared to most other common soaps. Although the product is excellent, it is a good idea to shop around for your value for your money.

Love this gentle facial soap. Leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh. Bar has the original scent which I love. Good value for money.

I have used Neutrogena Soap for my Face for over 60 years. My skin is wrinkle free, and free of age spots. I do use a moisturizer, and will treat myself to cosmetic products, L_____ is my favorite, but believe Neutrogena has played a major role in my skin care.

Have been using this for years and always have loved it. Nice super clean skin when using it. Never will change.

I've used it when I could find it in the stores (ordered from Amazon the last time). It is a mild soap that I've probably used since I was in my 20's. I'll be 76 in September and can pass for a younger woman.

Read over many of the reviews and found a few that match my thoughts. I have been using Neutrogena for over 60 years. It is almost impossible to find the original scent in any store, so I went to Amazon and found it and ordered it last month. While I can get a wisp of the scent holding the bar up to my nose, when I actually lather it and wash my face there is almost no scent and really what I smell is a tallow like smell, i.e., fat. It's what I don't like with the "unscented" version. I know what companies do, they look for ways to make things less expensive to produce and find multiple suppliers for ingredients and possibly reduce the amounts of certain sensory ingredients that are the source of the scent. It's disappointing to have a product that I have used since I was 14 years old make changes. I am sure the younger marketing people don't realize that if they make a bunch of small changes over several years, they likely aren't comparing revised versions to their original control, as the original control has disappeared into the annals of product history. So they may do panel tests and find "no change" or "equally well liked", but they aren't comparing to their original product. Thus, they are making changes to an old established product that from my long time consumer evaluation, isn't preferred! I guess some marketer's don't remember the new Coke debacle from a number of years ago!
