Although it says not to, I have been using it as a pediatric shake to help my daughter, with sensory issues when it comes to food, gain weight. Works really well. She went from the 11% to the 37% in a year and a half. I am now using it under the guidance of a GI specialist and a dietitian for the same purpose. Please seek doctor opinions before using it for this purpose. My daughter is almost completely dependent on theses shakes for food. Your child may not have the same issues and may need therapies to help. That being said if you are looking for a cost effective alternative to any of the higher priced shakes, these have higher calories, and I have not had any issue getting her to drink this. It also comes it different flavors. The only issue we have run into is that we use the nuk transition bottle with spout nipple, and after it sits for awhile, it starts to thicken. Any unused portion definitely needs to be refrigerated as soon as possible. It can also be a pain to clean out, so try rinsing it out after drinking it.

If you need to gain weight, this is the product for you. It tastes great and doesn't leave any after taste. Through having an operation and being in the hospital for 2 weeks plus not being able to swallow food and very little water. I lost 21 pounds. This is helping me. I drink one in the morning with my breakfast. I want to gain some of the weight back, but not too fast.

Good taste. No need to mix or add anything. Easy to digest. Works for me.

Okay, it tastes pretty bad. Sorry to say, but I've found these "nutritional drinks” all seem to have this funny taste, so I generally add 4-6 of liquified fruit (it's plenty sweet, no need to add sugar) to make it a smoothly and this drink works very well with that (and about 2oz added water as it's very thick otherwise). I found it a helpful supplement with the tube food that was provided to me while in throat cancer treatment, it really put a stop to the epic weight loss I experienced. Now that I'm pursuing rehabilitation surgery on my jaw, I'm once again using the smoothly trick and the weight loss (from simply not eating much due to a number of factors) I’m once again experiencing has abated. Seeing the typical nutritional drink has under 400 calories and the average adult needs 1500-2000 calories a day, those 530 calories prove very helpful.

price is crazy high but i need the calories n i love how amazon delivers to my door. taste is good , easy to drink tho thick but it does the trick

As I go through my cancer treatments, these drinks help me keep my weight up. I have taste and stomach issues, but these work better for me than other calorie dense options. Note: the consistency of these are thicker than the other Boost drinks I’ve tried. Not a negative, but it takes some getting used to.

Hey guys I usually don't leave reviews on products on here but I felt the need to let you guys know that it does work. I struggled with gaining weight for a while and wanted to try something new so I ordered this product. I drank 1-2 everyday along with meals and managed to put on 15pounds which Im really happy about. When it came it had no defects or anything inside(which I was nervous about seeing other reviews mentioned it). Definitely try this for a month at least to see results. It’s pricey but it works!

This drink is assisting my teenage gain weight. She loves the favour.
