I open a lot of coconuts at the juicery I manage and this is the best hand held tool we have ever used! It's perfect for fresh coconuts!!! If I could only take on thing to an island, this would be it!

It’s been a little over two years since I purchased this opener and it continues to work like a champ. If you’re looking for a simple tool that will let you quickly and relatively safely extract the water from a coconut, this is a great option. Note that a little effort is required to use it effectively, but I think most people should be able to make it work without excessive strain. So I loved this tool when I got it. I’ve had it maybe 6 weeks? Used it quite a bit but it has now disintegrated, the handle has broken from the tool part and it no longer works, I had to throw it out.

Do the job nicely no more chopping coconut but make sure coconut not too hard.

Must have tool! Save yourself, cuts from the machete safe, and you can stick a straw in there. Avoid drinking plastic, micro plastics are everywhere eat natural coconut do not buy coconut water from the shelf has additives and plastic in it.
