Q: The description says the warranty is 30 days but the bullet point above says the warranty is 5 years. Which is it?

The warranty is a limited 5 year warranty which is absolutely excellent in this field. It is for manufacturers or workmanship defects if the proper care has been taken of our steamer. Amazon's return policy is 30 days. These are not one in the same. I hope this helps. Thank you.

Q: My steamer only gargles and doesn't steam continuously. Did anybody have problems with this?

Yes, we have this steamer and it does NOT provide continuous steam. It will heat up and steam for 20-30 seconds then stop, pull water down, gargle, then heat up and provide steam for another 20-30 seconds. Issue is that it takes probably 30-45 seconds to reheat so during this time you're left there waiting for steam. Would recommend looking elsewhere for one that provides truly continuous steam.

Q: I am concerned about mold. How easy is it to clean this machine?

I think the problem would be calcification not mold. It calls for distilled water. I would be sure it is empty of water when you are done. It is light and easy to work with, in my opinion.

Q: Does this give the crisp look an iron gives? I like my creases on my pants and shirts.

It does have an attachment to create creases, however judging by your question, I suspect you would not be happy using a steamer; it's fast and very easy to use but if you're looking for crisp creasers in your pants and shirt then stick with and iron.
