Perfect Subwoofer Isolation Pad For The Yamaha HS8S
Picked up the VibeBoss P10 after weighing this VS some other contenders and was not disappointed with the results. Studio layout is a medium sized room with a concrete floor covered by low pile carpeting. Minimal acoustic treatment but no noticeable issues with just two Yamaha HS7 monitors. After adding a Yamaha HS8S subwoofer (down-firing type) directly on the floor, the boom and sound pressure were overpowering, uncomfortable, and muddy - causing early ear fatigue. To make it tolerable and more balanced with the desk monitors, gain on the HS8S had to be turned way down from center (12 o'clock) to a little past 9 o'clock but it never sounded quite right or as good as a front-firing sub I had tried in the same space. Unboxing Sound Addicted's platform, the feel is light yet sturdy and well made. The size of the platforms were a major deciding factor and this platform is near perfect for the Yamaha HS8S specifically. Instead of the square shape 15"X15" of both the Auralex SubDude II and the Auray ISO-SUB, the VibeBoss P10 is rectangular at 13.7" wide X 15.7" deep which better matches the shape of the HS8S at 11.8"W X 15.3"D and leaves just a slight lip all the way around the bottom of the sub. Aesthetically, this isolation platform wins over the Auralex and Auray in my opinion not only because of the shape for my specific speaker, but it comes in all black. Not some medium gray or combo of black and gray like the others, its all black save for the Sound Addicted logo which you can see in the photos. The logo is tasteful enough but if you prefer a more subtle, cleaner look like me just turn it around to face the backside of the speaker. Most importantly, sound wise this made more of an improvement than anticipated. Once the sub was mounted properly on the platform, it's perceived loudness (at the 9 o'clock gain level) was so noticeably low compared to what it was before and to the two HS7 monitors that I had to double check that it was even powered on and connected properly. This allowed raising the gain back to the standard 12 o'clock position to match the monitors and the sounds from the sub were now cleaner, crisper, with way less boom and abrasion. The only downside seems to be that with the sub isolated and sounding better at its intended volume, the rattling of some of the studio furniture is way more obvious - so treating all that is the next project! TLDR: If you have a Yamaha HS8S subwoofer, this is the isolation platform you want (P10 size), look no further. *The same company also makes the matching set of all black Studio Monitor Isolation Pads [ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WYXQZ7P ] which look super clean on my desk and have no branding on them. I bought them a few years ago for the Yamaha HS7's and are highly recommended.

Great product for subwoofer acoustics
The VibeBoss helped me reduce some subwoofer vibration noise making it perform better on my small space. The quality is ok. I recommend this product specially for marble flooring that may make some resonance on the subwoofer.

The Third (AND ESSENTIAL) ISO Component In Our System
We Started with the SA 5" monitor ISO blocks for our weighty (23 lbs) XIO soundbar. We then added the SA Soundbar feet to our Panasonic DP-UB9000P1K 4K HD BluRay player, and this third purchase, the VibeBoss P10 that I'm reviewing here, was installed under our KEF KC92 Subwoofer. This Subwoofer ISO platform fits the KC92 superbly- more more importantly, it does a fantastic job for what its designed. Our food is a carpeted wood floor (crawlspace) that while the carpet offers SOME damping, it's not nearly enough. What is the result of adding the SA VibeBoss P10? It completely removed any LF resonance & vibration through the carpet into the floor and floor joists, and through the structure of our living room and home; and because of that, the bass has not just tightened-up, but is more accurate, taut & defined; and BOOMS are minimized to the INTENDED BOOMS of the movie audio tracks, for example. This "trifecta" of Sound Addicted products we incorporated in our system (the VibeBoss P10 Platform, Soundbar feet under our BluRay player, and the 5" monitor ISO blocks under the XIO) is an absolute MUST HAVE for a very meager amt of money in contrast to much more spend audiophile solutions. I'm so glad we purchased these as the difference in our system before & after is night and day...a huge, HUGE improvement.

To all you Cabinet Shakers... this one's for you!
I have a subwoofer with dual 12" drivers tucked into the server cabinet for the surround sound system in my family room. The dual 12" drivers are forward and down-facing, so the latter drives base directly into the bottom of the cabinet and into the floor under the cabinet. Before I purchased this product, the subwoofer's placement would make everything from the cabinet to the windows rattle depending upon the base frequency, especially during those long periods of consistent, low frequency, signals - like you expect in those intense, elongated, seconds of a movie leading up to the big moment or scare. Most disconcertingly, the rattling inside the cabinet could get so bad, it would almost sound like speaker popping or distortion. It of course wasn't the speaker, this was literally caused by short, fast, hard, low frequency signals that would cause the subwoofer to bounce repeatedly off the ground. I would open the cabinet and find the subwoofer unit pressed against the wall diagonally, a foot or so away from its placed position. To complicate matters further in my case, there massive openings and metal grates installed at each end of the cabinet as well as cutouts throughout the cabinet to access wires fed through the wall and or to promote air circulation for the components installed in the cabinet. As the cabinet is custom built for wire access, management, and airflow, it is not solid and lacks rigidity. Therefore, it enhances rattling from low frequency signals of the subwoofer. Obviously, I needed a solution other than taking the unit out of the cabinet only to have an eye sore in the family room, which would likely not eliminate the problem as it would still be placed next to the cabinet. To be honest, I was not expecting "the final solution" out of this product. I hoped it would be just enough of an improvement to make the purchase worthwhile, and then maybe I had to add some sound dampening around the subwoofer in further support. Most importantly, I hoped it would at least eliminate the problem of the sub hoping around in the cabinet like it was "doing the twist" to the Chubby Checker song - I'm old enough to know, but some of you may have to look that one up. After all, as described, there is a lot for this few inches of what appears to be foam to overcome. The product arrived, and upon quick and easy installation by simply lifting the sub and placing it on top of this product, to my surprise, it pretty much eliminated any and all of the problems. It even eliminated or significantly reduced rattling/vibration in other parts of the room. It is truly amazing that a few inches of what appears to be foam - although, I am sure is so much more technical in its design - would clean up the base sound so significantly, especially considering the characteristics of my setup. This product is a more pricey compared to its competitors, which fell more in the range of 25 to 50 dollars. However, it was worth every penny, at least in my case. If an investment into a 70 dollar product cleans up these types of issues caused by a subwoofer that costs over 15 times that amount, it is well worth the investment. Therefore, to my amazement, this product unexpectedly fully fulfilled its purpose as advertised, and for that reason this is a 5-star product in my opinion. I am very happy with my purchase, it has saved me from further investment of additional sound dampening, installation, the any additional time it would have taken to figure it out. If you are experiencing similar issues with your subwoofer or speakers, this product is well worth the opportunity to fully resolve the problem.

Great for Subwoofers
I purchased this for a Klipsch 12inch 400 watt subwoofer. I live in the 3rd floor of an apartment building. So I need something that will take the vibrations away from the floors. I tried a Pyle first and it failed. So I got this and what a difference. Even the sound is better. No vibrations or anything coming out of that subwoofer. This is a must buy for anyone looking for stability for their subwoofer, trust me.
