Incredible battery life, and sturdy.
This battery works really well. It feels extremely sturdy (which is a huge plus for me, though the type of material they use for the shell doesn't feel like metal), the front panel tells you how much charge it contains (another huge plus, as my last portable battery had the vague "white, green, red" light going on) and it holds an incredible amount of charge, given its size (I have estimated that I could give my Nexus 6 AND Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 about three charges, from empty to full, simultaneously). I do have two small issues about it. I use my Nexus 6 for the Quick Charge port; sometimes it gives me a slow, trickle charge, in which I have to unplug, plug in again, and hope for the best. And, though it does advertise pass-through charging, it does lose some charge, while being charged through a Quick Charge 3.0 outlet, having either my Nexus 6 or Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 plugged into it (tested separately and together). It does seem to hold up its pass-through charging when my New 3DS XL is the only thing plugged into it, though I haven't tested it out long enough to actually see.I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great battery charger, and is tired of the many cheap options that only gives your phone about 10 percent charge to it.Edit: Still works perfectly in 2021 after years of dropping it literally everywhere. Only issue I've had is that the display randomly pops on with no button press to the power button. Works and charges well.

Amazing device!
I had lent out my Zendure A5 which somebody forgot to return, but it was a few years old and I seem to be jinxed with lithium ion batteries expiring prematurely, so I figured I might as well get the latest and greatest in case the old one comes back deceased. The A8 arrived (surprisingly) 25% charged: I expected something north of 80%. Not sure if this is optimal for some application; there is no comment about this anywhere.I asked a question about a suitable charger on the Amazon "questions" area for this product but the Zendure representative evidently missed the point of my question and copy/pasted some non-illuminating stock answer. (I suppose they are so conditioned to questions asking "will it work with my iPhone/Android X/USB device/etc.?" they are probably numb with boredom.) So I don't know if there is a charger which will improve recharging the A8 or not. Using a standard wall jack 3.2 amp charger, it took about 48 hours to go from <1% to 100%. There was a very long pause (maybe 14 hours) at 75%.I do really like that the A8, the ultimate flavor of all the Zendure battery packs, shows an exact percentage of full using a 3 digit display. As far as I know, all the other Zendure packs have instead 4 LEDs to indicate charge state (which indicate 0..24%, 25..49%, 50..74%, and 75..100%). It would be nice to be able to turn off the LED display at times because it is pretty bright. When charging the Zendure, the charge value flashes about once per second. When full and still powered, the display stays on but not flashing. While the battery pack is charging a device (phone, tablet) the display is steady on and slowly decreasing. The charge a device performance is amazing: It charges all my devices in less than an hour (when done one at a time). I have a high capacity LG Vigor (Android), a 7 inch Android tablet, and a minimalist TrakPhone Android. My main Android device can be charged at least 8 times from empty to full on one charge of the A8! I expect to take it backpacking next summer; combined with a solar charger, I expect a great improvement in phone usefulness.

It should serve my need to charge camera batteries in the field
I just recently received the 'Zendure A8QC External Battery', aka Portable Charger. I have tried it only once. It worked as described.Along with this Zendure, I purchased a 'Hyphen-X 100W USB-C 4-Port GaN Fast Wall Charger Type C PD' to charge it. Out of the box, the Zendure's power level digital read-out indicated 30%. It took four-five hours to charge the Zendure to 100% capacity (26,800mAh) via the Hyphen-X.I also purchased a 'Newmoa NB-6L Dual USB Charger' to charge batteries for my Canon SX540-HS camera. I connected it to the Zendure to charge one NB-6LH 3.7V battery. It took the "normal" time to successfully charge the camera battery, and took the Zendure from 100% to 98% capacity. That's a lot left to charge lots and lot of other batteries (or to charge other items via 4 ports). The described scenario is exactly why I acquired all three items together: to be able to charge camera batteries in the field with no available power source, and to not have to carry dozens of batteries otherwise.I feel very good about this Zendure product purchase, which btw is reasonably priced for the function, capacity and quality built into it. That's why I gave all maximum-stars in the ratings, albeit with only one test from my home and not in the field where I would be carrying the Zendure in a pack. It is sufficiently small yet hefty, indicating that it is in fact durable and sturdy. My older digicams used AA batteries. One could carry lots of AA's in a pack and/or pocket. Most digicams no longer use AA's. I now have a great solution to having camera power without tons of batteries, and with no fear of running out of recharge juice. Hurrah.

Overheated and died. Very pleased with customer service, and the replacement is excellent.
First one failed after it's second charge - it was like a pocket hand warmer for a day until fully discharged and no longer charged up.Following my initial review the suppliers provided a replacement immediately. The replacement has worked perfectly, it is usually sitting on my van dashboard plugged into a USB port so it is fully charged for when needed. It has coped with well below freezing over the winter, and above 50C where it sits in direct sunlight over recent weeks. On a recent camping trip it charged up friends phones as well as my own, and still had 60% charge remaining.Aside from getting a faulty unit originally, I'd say the only downside of this magnificent charger is its weight.

Zendure A8 Power Bank
