Having a very small sewing room, I dreaded getting out my full size ironing board. I don't even have room for a table top model. I stumbled on this smaller board and it seemed to be what I needed. I am extremely pleased! I hoped the shelf for the iron was removable, but it is not. So be aware. The hook between the two front legs on mine is positioned so that at the highest height setting, it is about 3mm too long and touches the floor. This makes the board just a wee bit tippy. I am guessing its a fluke to my board, just a slight 'miss' in the manufacturing. Otherwise, this board is very sturdy and strong. I am actually impressed! Now I am able to put up my ironing board and still move around my room. Simple to put up and down. I am thrilled to find someone makes an alternative for those of us with different needs.

My previous ironing board was big, heavy and took up too much room. I’m delighted with my new board because it’s the absolute opposite and is now neatly stowed behind the spare room door on a hook.

My ancient ironing board, inherited from my grandmother, (nothing is made like the old) finally collapsed in a heap on the garage floor. It had wooden legs and just wore out, from 75 years of use. Needing to purchase a new board, but wanted to make sure my needs were met, I had a search on my hands. I had been using a small table next to my grandmother's board, that I had placed an ironing pad on for placing the iron between uses. I really wanted a new board with an attached shelf eliminating the table and freeing up more floor space. After much searching and discarding other boards, I decided on this Mabel Home model. I really love the board cover! Next is the attached shelf. It comes with a rubber strap that holds the iron in place. When I am finished with my ironing, I can place the iron in the recessed space for the iron. I then pull the strap through the handle of the iron, and attach it on the other side of the iron. It keeps the iron from sliding around, even when I move the board. This means it is a permanent place to house the iron. The other positive about this board, it is very lightweight to move. All I have to do is a one-handed lift from the front of the board and move it over, to allow for getting to the washer-dryer. Oh, this board comes with an additional cover, just like the one already on the board. I so love the original cover, that I am very pleased to have an identical replacement! I still miss my grandmother's old board, but this is a beautiful replacement that completely fits my needs!

Das Bügelbrett macht zusammengeklappt einen guten Eindruck. Daher hatte ich die Verpackung auch schon entsorgt. Beim ersten Gebrauch entpuppte sich das Brett als wackelig. Ich habe dann einen der Kunststoff Überzüge der Füße unterlegt. Meine Dampfstation von Tefal ist sehr schwer. Sie passt auf die Ablage wackelt aber. Die Funktion des Bügelbrettes ist okay. Ich habe nicht viel Bügelwäsche daher ist es für mich okay. Für eine große Menge Bügelwäsche finde ich es zu instabil. Die Höhenverstellung ist okay und der Bezug ist okay.
