Fit good, got my self propelled mower up and running again.

Direct replacement at a great price.

Cable lasted three to four mowings when the top fitting broke from the cable making the pull bar useless. My lawn takes about 10 minutes to mow, so 40 minutes of use and the fitting breaks. No need for a picture, there are already several showing the same thing happened to me. I've had my Craftsman for about ten years and the original cable lasted until May of 2023. It is a shame that this vendor makes money off of cheap materials.

This cable installs easily, and is the recommended replacement part for this mower, however, it does not fit exactly, getting bound up at the throttle. The first one broke. This is the second one. It is still holding, but is straining to stay in one piece.

I had to order this part twice. The first time, I received a defective cable that broke immediately. On first startup of my lawn mower after installing this replacement for the original (rusty but still functional) cable, one of the cable ends snapped off and the mount pin for the bracket broke. I returned the defective part and a replacement part came quickly, and installed without any issues. Sometimes there's a bad one in the bunch. But the second time is the charm... seems to be working just fine!
