This item is a necessity with newborns. My son would scratch his face but with mittens he couldn’t. I highly recommend these to newborn parents.

They look big but they fit perfectly to our 2 month old that is about 13 pounds for reference. Your fold then at the wrist and they fit perfectly. And will still have room to grow. I prefer the ones that don't have the little holes but they otherones do the job as well. The packet comes with both styles. Will definitely buy again.

This was purchased for my grandson, these didn't shrink when washed, item size fit perfect. The band around the wrist kept them in place while stretching enough that I was concerned.

So soft and fit perfectly. Just wish there was an option for only the cloth ones and no mesh!

Our youngest isn't quite 4 months old yet. I was hoping with the long cuff, these mittens would stay on but the little bugger can still manage to pull these off. I thought the mesh looking ones would be good to wear in the hotter months. But the holes are big enough for his little nails to still scratch. I also bought other gloves, just plain white cotton gloves with the elastic around the wrists. They were cheaper and I got more in a pack. He can still take those off too, but I get more for my money. I would have returned them had I not washed them beforehand.

These work well for a larger/older baby...using to prevent scratches due to eczema.
