Even though it is the exact item # of the lamp that we had, it took some work to get it inserted far enough to close the cover. Not sure if the lamp casing has changed a bit since the last one - the old one was at least 8 years old.

Lamp works but emits a strong plastic odor
The lamp works but the lamp emits a strong plastic odor when it gets warm. I have used two Electrified lamps in different projectors and both could only be used in open areas due to the smell. I had to go back to OEM lamps.

Lamp is DEFECTIVE -- Genie must be trapped inside
Deep purple on left side -- yellow in middle -- green on right side. Lamp meter shows 770 hours of usage as soon as it's put in. Strong plastic smell when turned on.
