3MScotch-Brite Scuff Pads (3M 07445/07447/07448 (5 Pads of Each))

I use these to clean my guitar fretboard with some naphtha, progressively going from coarse to fine, then conditioning. They work great.

I use these pads to remove stains and dirts together with 409 and achieve good results on the gel coat of my boat. Highly recommended for gel coat cleaning.

I have stainless steel cookware and got behind cleaning it and between discoloration and a less than polished services i got these pads along with some cleaner to try to revive these very expensive pans. My first pan ended up with some scuffs from these pads. I had to back off. They work great in the kitchen and i a cut down version of all three by my sink, just be careful as they are aggressive.

I found out about these pads from a YouTube video where I was trying to polish a satin finish watch buckle. The host recommended this value pack from Amazon, and boy, was he right. The pads arrived, I got the 7447 out, and 10 minutes later, the scratches were all gone, buckle like new, and I'm a happy camper. I cannot begin to tell you how many uses I have for these pads. Of course, I tried a plastic sponge thingy and steel wool first, and the sponge was useless, the steel wool shredded everywhere and was useless - and the fibers stuck in my hands just awfully. So, that was not the answer. I am so thrilled I bought these, and I have enough pads to last me for at least the foreseeable future. Highly, highly recommended.

Been working on polishing some dulled out lightly corroded aluminum motorcycle parts. These pads helped me make quick work of all the prep. Highly recommended, real 3m product.

Made sure description specifically stated I was getting 3M pads by model number. Thankfully, what I got is what I thought I was ordering. I don't remember the pads being that think, but I had mine now for years so they may have flattened out a bit through use. Sand paper you throw away. These tend to hang around a lot longer.
