ALEX Toys Little Hands Ready Set Dinos

There are 8 different activities that children can make with this kit. Instructions are illustrated and simple to understand. Each activity provides some educational information about the item being made. My daughter liked making the dinosaur puppet, walking in the foam dinosaur feet, and making the dinosaur paperboard egg with the baby pom pom dinosaur inside. Great value.

Being both a dinosaur family and a crafts family this set was definitely something I knew my youngest would enjoy. It is listed as being for ages 4 and up but I think it is more just for 4-10 year olds. There are eight different dinosaur craft projects in the box that are wrapped in separate plastic so you don’t need to do them all in one day. The supplies and parts are all large enough that they are easily swallowed but they are sized well for small hands to use. Most of the projects are easily completed with stickers, but some do require the use of glue and thankfully a big glue stick is included. The kit was lots of fun for him, and he was really thrilled with his dino feet and I was very surprised at how well they held up. The only problem we had with the set was a missing piece in the baby dino with the egg kit, outside of that it was all smiles. Overall this is a fun set, I like that extras needed like the crayon and glue is included and all the projects were easy to complete.

Even though this craft set is meant for age 4 and up, I used it with my 3 year old, and I have found it to be perfect for him. He loves using the glue and stickers. I love the range of crafting supplies in this set (and sensory items), from a pom pom to clothes pins, a finger crayon to a ready made finger puppet. The reason I gave it fours stars instead of five is because I feel like kids in the intended age range would get bored with it pretty quickly. Even though I love the range of craft supplies, the end results are pretty cheesy. For us, that doesn't matter because it's all about the process. I recommend for emerging crafters.

Dino set comes with 8 different activities.Based on my experience with a 5 year old, here are my observations:- Activities can take 20-30 minutes- Depending on how rough they are, the end result is not gonna last too long.- There is enough diversity to do crafts and enjoy the different aspects.- She has had fun with the 3 we have done so far, I'll keep doing one or two for the next couple of weeks.- It has all the materials needed, including glue stick.- The 8 activities are described in the product description, so no need to repeat those here.

This craft set is perfect for little dinosaur-lovers. It includes 8 different activities (and the materials and supplies to make ONE of each). Because there is just one of each activity, this probably wouldn't work with a large group or even a small group of kids very well, but the activities are really cute and fun. I love the foam dinosaur feet craft, and the dinosaur fossil rubbing plate was a big hit with my son! Crafts are colorful and imaginative and should provide at least a few hours of fun.

This kit contains 8 Dino Themed projects with all the supplies needed!I love Alex craft kits, each box contains individually wrapped projects that can take from 10 to 30 minutes to complete. In this kit, there are stickers that are needed for a couple of the projects but they are in a separate package that must be shared. This caused a little confusion for my 4-year old. He prefers the kits that have all the supplies for a project in their own package.The crafts are cute but not very durable, they don't last long with the kids playing with them. I tell my grandson that it's okay, The fun is in making the craft.This kit includes an instruction booklet that contains the instructions for all the projects. Most of the other Alex Craft Kits that we use, have the instructions within each individually wrapped project. The interesting part of the booklet is the fun facts about dinosaurs. Each project is to resemble a specific dinosaur and the facts are an interesting addition to the project.My grandsons just left VR these projects!

The Dino is a favorite with the toddler and has been used off and on (whenever it catches his fancy). He loves to roar and pretend play as animals. So if a child has these qualities, this toy will be used quite often.

I have yet to find a Alex product that I don't love. This is great dinosaur craft box with hours of fun for both boys and girls. It literally comes with everything you need to do the craft projects including glue. My son loves Alex craft products. Whenever he sees that one was delivered in the mail, he will just grab it and sit down and start doing them himself. It has simple picture instructions so he doesn't need me necessarily to tell him how to do it. I think that is one of the reasons he loves them so much. It gives him a sense of independence. I love them because they are cute, interesting simple crafts. No complicated instructions, comes with at least 5 crafts and each craft can be done withing 20-30 mins. Plus, as an added bonus when he is done all the extras can be added to our craft box so he can be creative with other crafts in the future. His favorite in this box by far was the dinosaur shoe covers. He has worn them all over the place.I highly recommend this product and other Alex products.

We haven't done the Dino activities yet but we have done the Space equivalent and it was great kept our nearly 5 year old busy for a long time and it was great joining in and talking about space and the planets. Good value activity for a rainy day,
