Bellroy Folio Mini – (Wallet, Coin Pouch) - CharcoalCobalt

Part 1 The Back story: 7 years ago I decided to change to a more relax wallet that didn't take up all my pants/shorts pocket room and also a wallet which I can carry comfortably. For years I've been looking for a small wallet to carry cash, a few credit cards and a few receipts. Enter the Bellroy Folio mini wallet. I purchased the green color because every other wallet I owned is either black, brown, or black and brown, or brown and black, you know what I mean. If you are not familiar with Bellroy products their colorwaves are excellent. Let's get to the review. Part 2 - Review Outside - The feel of wallet is smooth with a secure zip closer. The front of the wallet has a small Bellroy owl and the zipper has a leather brown pull that gives the wallet extra personality. Interior - You get two cavity compartments and one magnetic coin pocket in the middle of both cavities. I currently carry about 8 cards and a metal pocket comb, at any given time I can easily secure over $300 to $400 US dollars in one cavity. The magnetic coin pocket is easy to access, however I tent to carry folded bills or receipts in this pocket. Each cavity has brown trim matching the brown color on the zipper pull with a wolf gray color which matches the outside trim of the zipper. Final thoughts: If you're looking for a small premium wallet look no further. Bellroy has done an excellent job in building a beautiful wallet with a premium look and feel.

My husband ordered this wallet...I liked it so much that I ordered one...the teal color. I like the fact that it does not have individual slots for each credit card...some might not. However, that feature is exactly why both my husband and i purchased this wallet. Nice size...small enough to fit in his pants pocket or my blazer pocket. Nice leather, good zipper Seems like it will hold up. Would definitely purchase again.

I’ve been trying to find a good coin-holding wallet for AGES. This little guy knocks it out of the park. The coin pouch works as advertised. It opens in the middle to allow for easy picking, magnetically snaps tight, and can hold a surprising amount of coins. Even with the coin pocket, it’s still a nicely sized, minimal wallet. It looks great resting, big fan of the teal gray. I love being able to open it like a pouch rather than digging through folds. Zipper is robust. The material is leather-like, lightly oiled, and feels premium. Also, owl decal! If it wasn’t clear, I love this purchase, and well worth the price tag. I can stop thinking about buying a new wallet!

The design, feel, and function are all exceptional. It's the PERFECT size, and holds a surprisingly large amount! The security that comes from having a fully enclosed, RFID protected, and zippered wallet gives peace of mind. The coin pouch is convenient and closes snuggly. The craftsmanship is excellent. What keeps this from 5 stars is the color and zipper quality. Like others have commented, the color is much lighter than depicted or described. I ordered the charcoal cobalt. This color is a "medium" gray. Not dark enough to have a masculine feel. Not light enough to be feminine. A mediocre unisex color. A disappointment. The zipper is stiff and "crunchy" (is the only way I can describe it), with some odd gluey substance on some of the teeth---as if some leather conditioner had found its way onto some of the teeth and semi-dried there. Given that this is a premium brand with a premium price, these flaws are disappointing. Despite them however, the positives are SO positive (and perfect!) that I must say this is the best wallet I've ever owned, and I may have become a lifelong convert to this brand and style.

I purchased this one as a gift for someone who uses small accessories (and prioritizes portability), and this was the best in every aspect! The material feels premium, and the small size is perfect for even more cards than it advertises. We loved the magnet for coins! It's very functional when you open it while being distracted. The packaging couldn't be better if your aim is to give it to someone else. Every card is accessible, and you can definitely discard using a wallet and a coin purse separately. Can't be happier with this purchase!

I ordered a Bellroy Folio Mini expecting it to be new, but what I got from Amazon was clearly used. The wallet showed creasing, wear around the emblem, and even a blemish on the inside. The packaging was sloppy too, like someone had returned it and Amazon just shoved it back out to me. Amazon advertises their A to Z Guarantee as protection to make sure buyers get what they paid for, but they broke that promise here. They tried to pass off a used return as new and did nothing to fix it. I had no choice but to go through Bellroy directly to get the product I originally paid for. This is not on Bellroy. Their products are great, and when I reached out to Bellroy, their support team immediately helped me and sent a real new one. The difference was obvious. The new wallet looked perfect and even had that strong fresh leather smell that the first one never had. If you want a genuine Bellroy, buy straight from Bellroy’s official website or another trusted retailer. Do not risk Amazon sending you something that has already been used.

Love it. A bit bulky but it can fit a lot.

This is a great quality product, in a handy size. I bought this one to replace one I've been using for several years. It can store 6 to 8 cards on each side, as well as folded notes and the magnetic clip section in the middle is great for coins, tablets and written memos or jewellery. The size fits in your hand, and unlike a wallet the curved edges make it easy to slip into a pocket and to retrieve when walking. It has RFID protection as a bonus.

Das ist echt eine richtig geile, kleine Wallet. Es passen meinen Karten rein inkl Dienstausweis und komme so aktuell auf acht Karten, plus Kleingeld und ein paar Scheinen. Das tollste ist, ich kann den Apple AirTag bei den Münzen unterbringen und man merkt es nicht und ist nicht ausgebeult oder sonst was. Sehr schickes Teil. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Compré una segunda cartera para mí mujer porque yo tenía otra previamente y me encantó. Está hecha en muy buenos materiales, detalles cuidados y hecha a mano. El cuero tiene un color muy bonito y la cremallera es de calidad. Dentro tiene un bolsillo con cierre magnético para monedas y dos compartimentos para tarjetas. Cumple con todas las descripciones del fabricante. No es barata, porque encontrarás otras más baratas. Si necesitas meter más tarjetas se verá abultada y cerrará mal, y tal vez lo que necesites será una billetera o cartera más grande.

Después de muchos años usando el Card Pocket tradicional decidí dar el salto al Bellroy Folio Mini y sin duda la gran cantidad de cosas que puedes poner dentro es descomunal, sin dejar de ser una cartera minimalista. En el exterior está fabricado en piel por completo y tiene el logo de Bellroy metálico, lo cual le da un toque muy premium y tiene un cierre metálico de excelente calidad, muy suave y sin atascos, la marca varía, pero todos funcionan muy bien aún después de bastante uso junto con un tirador de piel. En el interior, cuenta con dos espacios amplios laterales para poner ya sea una gran cantidad de tarjetas, o bien, en uno llevar tarjetas y en el otro billetes doblados a la mitad o notas de papel o cualquier cosa que se te ocurra, entran bastantes. En el área central hay un espacio para poner monedas que se abre de manera natural al abrir el monedero en general y puedes poner una cantidad decente de monedas. Yo de manera personal, llevo en el mío en un bolsillo lateral un total de cuatro tarjetas, y en ese mismo bolsillo llevo una navaja Victorinox Swiss Card que cabe a la perfección sin verse abultado ni nada de eso, en el otro bolsillo llevo billetes doblados a la mitad, pueden caber hasta unos 10 billetes doblados sin ningún problema y en el bolsillo central que está hecho para monedas metí un AirTag y queda y funciona a la perfección. También queda espacio para monedas, pero decidí no usarlo porque rayaría demasiado el AirTag. Cuando he salido de viaje llevo una cantidad mayor de tarjetas, sacando la Swiss Card claro, siendo un total de 8 tarjetas y teniendo espacio a la perfección. Sea cual sea tu configuración, si estás acostumbrado a traer contigo una gran cantidad de tarjetas, es una excelente opción para ti. Utilizarlo no es difícil, funciona como un monedero pequeño tradicional y es bastante cómodo de usar, sin embargo, si tienes que usar una tarjeta en especial, toma en cuenta que tendrás que sacar todas las tarjetas para poder seleccionar la que necesitas y volver a guardar las otras. Realmente no fue un problema para mí. En tamaño, es un poco más grande que el Card Pocket de Bellroy, pero le caben muchas cosas más sin verse abultado y cerrando perfectamente bien. Lo recomiendo para aquellos que gustan de las carteras minimalistas y con cierre y que no manejan tanto efectivo pero quieren un espacio para muchas tarjetas y un AirTag o monedas. Los materiales se sienten y se ven muy premium y al ser piel genuina, resistirá muy bien el paso del tiempo con una pátina muy agradable.
