Small but Healthy Live Plant
I am writing this review now solely based on current information. If you know much about figs, it is difficult if not impossible to know if you received the type you ordered until the plant produces fruit. Sometimes you can tell by the leaves but it still has to mature before you can do that. The plant I receive was between 2-3 inches so it is small. The main thing though is that the plant I received was perfectly healthy. It was shipped in a well protected packaging in a small pot and the soil was still very moist. I have had no issues since repotted and the plant is thriving.*** NOTE *** I have not purchased from this nursery before so I cannot remark about any confidence in receiving the correct variety that I purchased. Many times when buying mail order plants, the nursery can send the wrong type and some unethical nurseries simply don’t care because it may take 2-3 years or more before you realize it is the wrong variety. Take care when buying mail order but you should expect that this is a risk ESPECIALLY with figs. My review is based on the health of the plant received and no review on the certainty of variety.

Beautiful and healthy!
Such a beautiful, healthy little fig, beautiful healthy leaves. I’m so happy I bought this baby. I’ve bought figs that were literal sticks and this little figgy is gonna be so big and beautiful. I will definitely buy from the seller again again.

A tiny stem with no leaves
I received a tiny stem not even a couple of leaves on it, still waiting for it to come to life doesn't look like it has hope

Disappointed
The one I received is barely thicker than a thread, with one leaf. From what I have read and heard, a healthy cutting should be at least a pencil thickness. That said, It was well pac!ed and I will give it all I've got to try to get it to grow.

Healthy and good size
I have received a good size, healthy plant with strong roots. The height is about 6-7 inches. The soil was moist and the packaging was solid. The order arrived within 2 days while the outside temperature was from 60 to 80 degrees. I believe that the people who reported receiving dead plant may have something to do with the condition during shipping rather than the specimen itself. The pictures show how the plant arrived and after it was repotted in a 2 gallon pot.

Alive and healthy, although very small.
This is the first time I've shopped for a fig grown from tissue culture. I didn't know what to expect, other than hoping it would arrive in good condition and survive. It did.The tiny fig tree arrived as a multi-stemmed specimen in its little pot -- not as tall and thriving as pictured on this product page, but with several little pale green leaves on it. (I really wish I'd taken a picture, sorry..)So far so good. I let it acclimate in my window, watered it , and about a week later, planted it in a larger pot with some good quality potting soil. Set it outside in our mild spring weather (low sixties in the day, high forties at night) and let it sit in a partial sun location. One month in, I added some bone meal to the soil and started it on a liquid fertilizing routine every two weeks. Moved it gradually to a full-sun location. The tiny tree was gradually growing and leafing out more.It seems to be doing well as of today, 2.5 months later. It has grown moderately and taken on a deeper, healthier green color. I am aware that it will be a few years at this rate before it will be mature enough to give me any figs, so we will see if the fig they sent me is true to the label "Green Ischia". The trade-off of getting a fig tree at a third of the price of buying a nice, rooted cutting that will bear fruit one year later is that there will be a much longer wait ahead before I will see the "fruits of my labor". Hoping and praying it will be worthwhile.

Quick growing, healthy plant
I'm not in a place where I can get a picture of it now. And it's about 3 months after I made the purchase. The fig is now a nice, healthy (smaller) shrub. It arrived as a 6 inch (or so) tall rooted/potted plant. And it's currently growing in a container, on my deck.At the moment it's almost 4 feet tall. I assume if it would be planted out in my garden, it would be twice as large. There are no signs of fruiting on it for this year. But as healthy as it is, I'll expect a lot of figs on it next year.

Cute but alas
This plant is very small as expected but seems healthy. I transplanted it to a larger pot and it's in the shade to acclimate to our environment . I feel like it's kind of expensive but what isn't these days. Lets hope it thrives.3/26/2025 Update: Well, this plant never grew much and finally just died. I kept it in the pot to give the roots some growth before transplanting to the ground. It never added any leaves, just sort of stayed the same size and eventually died. I'm very disappointed because this plant was expensive for the size it was. I went on line and watered and fed according to advice I found there. The plant got morning sun and partial shade the rest of the day. It was along side of herbs I grow in that spot and they thrive but this fig didn't. I won't be buying plants on line from this grower again.
