Removes Hearing Aid Moisture
One of my hearing aids has become very sensitive to moisture. My head and the area above my ears will perspire when it's hot out or I am doing activity. When this happens, the hearing aid will begin sounding high pitched beeps, so I have to take it off and dry it. The dryer works well to dry out the hearing aid and allows it to function. I now use it everyday to extend the life of the hearing aids.

HEARING AIDS HATE HOT HUMID SUMMER DAYS
Neat package for hearing aid dehumidification; I put mine in every night at bedtime and press the start button. Low heat dries out the hearing aids; they seem to work better than when I just left them lay out on my desk overnight.

Not a direct replacement for my old unit ...
I had a 'Perfect Dry' unit for more than 10 years that finally quit working, so I ordered this unit thinking it was the same. Turns out it does not have a fan to circulate the air like my old one, but uses 'natural convection'. I assume it's still better than nothing for storing my hearing devices overnight.
