Junk it for making homemade ice cream
My aunt has always made homemade ice cream and she has always used junket , Amazon is the only place I can find it. I asked people in Walmart if they have it and they look at me like I am crazy. They’ve never heard of it, but it makes some of the best ice cream you will ever put in your mouth.

Good flavor but
I've made my own ice cream since the pandemic started and thought I'd try Junket to steam-line my effort... the ice cream is not as creamy and is a bit icy... this last time, I added egg yolks to make it like I do my home made version and it's better - I've also added cocoa and coffee as flavors and they work well with the vanilla... I'd definitely buy it again...

Easy Way To Concoct Great Ice Cream!
I've been using Junket for several years and it always produced great ice cream. I started with a five-quart ice cream maker that actually uses ice but after one summer I switched to a one-quart model that uses a canister frozen in the refrigerator. I've used Junket to make regular vanilla, coffee, raspberry, lemon-ginger, orange-pineapple, basil, chocolate chip and peach ice creams. I use half-and-half for the dairy element. I learned that two tablespoons of liquor keep the ice cream from freezing too hard. Most cooks have recommended using vodka because it doesn't affect the flavor of the ice cream, but I wanted to amplify the various flavors of the ice creams. For example, I used Kahlua for coffee ice cream and Chambord for raspberry. I'm gonna try Bailey's Chocolate Liqueur when I make chocolate. (I haven't worked with Junket Chocolate or Junket Strawberry yet.) Anyhow, try it; you'll like it!

Great for Ninja Creami machine
This makes the absolute best ice cream in my Ninja Creami machine. We have tried other brands but this is hands down the best. It’s a bit pricey. I was able to purchase it at my local grocery store much cheaper but I haven’t been able to find it lately. I’m assuming it’s a seasonal item. We love it so much I’m willing to pay the extra. So good!
