It is SUCH a great bag. When I first opened it up, I just KNEW it was quality unlike a lot of Chinese products sold on Amazon lately. The pockets were stitched right, the pockets were HUGE. Able to carry all of my things and THEN some.It fits my laptop (17in) well and perfect as well as other things needed alongside it, (power adapter, etc). I love the look. Professional in style with aspects of the outdoors, but its rugged and can be used for anything you need too. Great for a work or school bag/ laptop case. The front pocket is great for your wallet and phone but you don't have to use the front pockets for that if you do not want to. the strap is OK if you don't have a lot stored inside. However, without a padded strap, I can see the strap packed with the bag to dig into the shoulders. The remedy to this is that it ALSO has backpack straps if need be, so the regular messenger strap is a minor gripe, but still something I should mention. All in all 10/10 Kudos to ibagbar. I was recommended by a friend and I am so glad I took the chance!

Very satisfied with this bag. I did a lot of searching for an appropriate and stylish bag for a 2 week backpacking trip I had to Italy. I took a chance on this item and am very satisfied with my experience. It's roomy, durable, and versatile.Overall, I was able to pack a toiletry bag, 2 pairs of pants,1 pair of shorts, 7 shirts, 2 pairs of socks, sandals, 7 pairs of underwear, a book, my chargers and an adapter. I fit everything well with some extra room before the trip started. Of course, as the trip proceeded, I got a little more sloppy about efficient packing. So it was tightly packed by the end, but it all worked out!I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a bag that can fit clothes for a backpacking euro-trip.I will say that I was really happy to find this bag, at this price. I'd seen look-alikes on other sites for 3x the cost.ONLY recommendation for this bag, I'd prefer that the partition on the main compartment was removable. Not a big issue overall, clearly.

Pros: Excellent style. Very roomy. Can fit multiple textbooks, 15-inch MBP, charger, and everything else you would need for a day at the office or just for school. The versatility is unrivaled by any other bag I have encountered. You can use this as a messenger bag, a 'briefcase', a hiking ruck, or anything else you can think of.Negatives: Not incredibly comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The central compartment zipper-design is lacking and more difficult than necessary to zip. The first item I was sent was defective, but Amazon rectified this immediately.Final: For the price point, this bag is a very good deal. It is an excellent every day "point A to point B" bag. Good for a wide variety of situations.

Quality of the bag is great, it's very durable. The fact that you have to side load it is very annoying. The zipper sits underneath one of the side clasps so it's not the easiest to get to. The front pocket zipper that goes around the leather portion gets stuck. I have loaded this thing with books many times and it sits comfortably on my back and does not look like it will break or anything so that's why I like the bag. It's quite large too. I started using it for trips since it is such a big size, I have essentially eliminated my need for a carry on suitcase.

UPDATE: I had to update my rating. Customer service has been exceptional. The company replaced my bag. They actually contacted me after my review. While I'm not sure the strap with survive my next trip I have confidence in the company backing its product.Good bag for the price and a lot of nice features. However, the carry strap swivel clasp stretched and eventually broke on its first outing. Bag wasn't even that heavily packed. Not sure if I received a defective bag but I had to return. A shame really overall it is a really nice bag for the money.

I’m indifferent about this book bag. I love the multifunctions of it, and even though it’s a travel bag, the large compartment is, well too large. I’m not a fan of stacking books on top of each other, so while books work well side by side (using the shoulder strap option) if you have to transition to the book bag, your books are now stack on top of each other. Also, one of the clips broke while traveling, I eventually was able to fix it (see pictures). Also, the should strap: it does not stay put and slides, and it would be nice to have a shoulder pad.

Ideal for work or schoolbag/laptop protection. The front pocket is perfect for your wallet and cell phone, but if you don’t want to use the front pocket, you don’t have to use the front pocket. If there is no stored item inside, the strap is also available. However, if there is no padding, I can see the straps filled with bags deep into the shoulders. The remedy for this is that if it is needed, it also has a backpack strap, so the regular shoulder strap is all in all, Ibizka's 10/10 praise. I was recommended by a friend and I'm glad I took the opportunity!

I've gotten many compliments on the style of the bag. I love it too! The modular zipper, however, continues to come undone at the worst times. My laptop has fallen out of the backpack three times now (shame on me for not strapping it into the laptop sleeve strap, but I shouldn't have to worry about that happening.) The zipper fault, along with the loose bottom (as in it has a ton of sag since it doesn't have any structural reinforcement at the bottom of the pack are my two chief complaints. Besides that, I've enjoyed my pack!
