Bought this to provide an alternative external access to a garage but it is capable of considerably more, particularly that it can link with other devices to control a single entry from multiple places.The wires are short enough to make it very difficult to bypass but the device does not have an anti-tamper switch and producing some sort of action resulting from multiple failed entry attempts requires additional hardware. In addition, the device only permits 4 digit keypad entries which represents 10,000 possible combinations, and no lockout in the configuration as supplied.However it works well and is relatively simple to program. When programming the device requires small gaps between key strokes; it does not respond properly to inputs the speed of double clicks.
