I got these to put on my steps inside my house because my dog was afraid to go down the steps. Since I got them, he hasn't had any issues. They have a fine gritty grip to them, but not too much. I've had them on my hardwood steps for 3 months (at the time of this review) and they are still holding strong. The only issue is that they are impossible to clean. If you do have them in the house, I recommend a hard bristle brush to clean them, that's what works best.

I needed to find a way to add more safety to my wooden deck stairs as my elderly parents were having some troubles with sliding on the stairs. I bought this with that in mind and I have to say they have worked beautifully! Because my stairs are each two pieces instead of one long piece, I had to cut these strips in half length-wise and then apply them. I applied them in cold, dry weather. I pressed each piece down by hand and then stepped on each part of it to make sure it was secure and had at least 24 hours to stick. To this point through icy, snowy, and arctic weather, they are still holding strong and have not begun to peel or lift up. I am very pleased with them!

Super easy to install. Look great. Got delivered extremely quickly. Didn't give them 5 stars all around because I just put them in and still hoping they last. Adhesion seemed to be spot on and super tacky. I don't see any issues with this coming up. You must make sure the surface your putting them on is really, really clean first.Great product.

These tread traction strips will help you not slip on the stairs and are pretty good.I was worried that they might not be very nice to walk on barefoot, but they're OK.Treads are a nice size and while rough, they don't really scratch up your bare feet.Only knock on them is the adhesive sometimes doesn't stick well on bare oak treads.But even that only happen on the very edge on 1 out of 20 of them -- a minor issue.

I bought 2 sets - one for the garage steps and another for the deck. They work great, really helpful! Especially on the deck stairs, which get soggy and slippery after it rains. As one of the reviews mentioned - they were folded in a half. Not sure about theirs, but mine were folded with a gentle curve and not bent with a visible crease. So it was not an issue. Once I applied them to the steps, they straightened. I actually was worried about the set I used outside because they don't seem to be waterproof, but we had a LOT of showers and thunderstorms since then and the strips still attached and still working the same. I would recommend it!

Exactly what I needed. Nice strong texture and adhesive! It was nice to have an option of a 3 pack rather than 10 pack of many others. Good value and works great to protect my Jeep bumper from dog scratches and they come in and out!

Nice gritty surface to apply to your steps to help you from slipping. I have a single wood step coming in from the garage and it's gotten slick from age. I've slipped a few times and almost hurt myself. I now have a bad lower back and slipped and it hurt like crazy. These pads have super strong adhesive and stuck well from end to end and have not peeled or pulled up at all.

I bought these to replace our worn out stair treads and they were perfect! The size was spot on for our entry steps. I looked at our local home stores for these first, they were double the price for ONE tread. You cannot beat these treads for the price and product quality! I installed them over 6 months ago and they still look brand new.
