I lost some of my connectors when I have my shelves separated. These were slightly different. That little band in between the two threaded sides was different exposed thickness. So instead of just useing two new ones with the two old ones I had left I replaced all 4 to match.They fit my shelf systemnot too much else to it. They are metal and have held up so far and have no reason to think they wont.

Was missing a few for our shelving and there worked out perfectly.

The threads are sloppy so whenever you go to screw them down be very careful and not cross thread. Once you catch the threads right and get them screwed down, they work good. If your person is not careful I believe these threads could be easily cross-threaded.

These adapters helped me put my two short metal shelving units into one tall unit.

Slightly too small for what I needed them for. My fault.

Threads were not correct for my wire shelves.. I had to use JB Weld on the threads.

They will NOT fit the standard metal shelves from Target, which have a finer thread (finer pitch). They are almost the right diameter (a couple mm off) but the threads are much coarser on these than the shelves require. This isn't a big deal EXCEPT that people need to make this clear if possible. I know that brands vary, etc, but a little clarity would go a long way.And there does not seem to be a replacement on Amazon with fine threads. Not sure where else to go on this. But be careful.
