Each button created by Crop Circle Clay is a handmade piece of ceramic art. No molds are ever used. I make these with grey clay cutting the circles, then the hole, smoothing and firing to earthenware. Then paint carefully with metalic glaze and fired again at 1220°. I love finding them in the kiln after glaze firing and sand to smooth any rough pieces. All buttons are similar but not identical. Some variation in size is expected due to their organic shape. The size listed is the closest to their actual size in most dimensions. There can be some variation in color as well depending on the glaze batch, and the firing.
