I ran them around the ceiling in my Serenity Room. They look absolutely spectacular! So many awesome things about these lights (where to begin)... they're super long so plenty of light for a strand for every room in the house, the cost is so low compared to brick and mortar stores where I usually buy them as well as other online sellers, they have multiple modes (mine are set on flashing so they catch your eye) and they come in all the best colors (mine are purple cuz that's my power color). I more than encourage every one to get a set and make one of your rooms (or your porch) your Serenity Room. :)

This product has a lot of good reviews, so this might be a rarity, but I did see a few others mention it as well. When you set your color with the remote, it will randomly change back to another pattern. For me, it was changing to blue. I was not sure if this was the remote malfunctioning, so I set it back on multicolor and removed the battery from the remote. This did not help it, it still reverted back. So then I tried changing the pattern from the switch on the box near the plug. Since then, it hasnt reverted back. But ill update my review if it does.The remote is the same garbage remote that you find with all color-changing lights - not just string lights, but outdoor spotlights, artificial candles, etc... Its the most worthless piece of crap remote ever made. But you might get lucky and get a few months out of it. Just be ready to have to change the settings from the box - not a huge deal, not for me, I dont really care about the remote but thats because I already know its going to be garbage.Other than that, the lights are good. If the color change still occurs even when changing from the box, then that changes things a lot, rending these lights useless. As mentioned, ill update if that happensEDIT: changed to 1 star.Turns out it is not the remote. No matter what setting I use, it always goes back to static blue. The battery has been completely out of the remote and I changed it from the box. It sometimes last for several hours, sometimes just a few minutes. Since blue is the only color it'll work with and no matter what I set it to, it automatically reverts to blue, these are beyond useless to me. I'll be returning them.EDIT - Changed back to 5 starThe reason I changed this review is because I found the cause of the changing lights and it is not the manufacturers fault. If you are experiencing this issue - do you have any magnetic alarms or anything similar that sends a signal around your house? For me, one of the doors in my house has that cheap magnetic alarm that chimes when the door is opened - it sends the signal to base thats plugged in and acts as an alarm.Turns out, this signal is what was causing the issue. I noticed it when someone walked through the door as I was staring at the tree, and after several tests, confirmed this is the issue. This is obviously not the fault of the manufacturer, although I am quite surprised that this signal interferes with the lights and always turns them blue. It even happens when the base is not plugged in, so when the magnets separate, somehow the lights receive the signal and change color.

Works well out of the box. Good brightness. Very thin guage wire. Hope it lasts several years!

Just this one strand is a perfect size for the 7'-8' tree we buy every year. No more combining strands together. This has many different options and colors. I won't go through all the combinations but if you are using the older incandescent light bulb lights (whether the big bulbs of the 70's 80's or the smaller bulbs of the 90's 00's), then this is guaranteed to be better IMO. Are there some combinations of colors and blinking I wish this had? Yes. But my old strand of lights with burnt out light bulbs had 1 option and this one has that option along with many more. Plus they are LED bulbs so I anticipate they will last a long time.One thing to note, I don't think you can daisy chain this light set with another. Or at the very least, there is no male or female plug on the one end of the strand. But for a typical household with a 6'-8' tree, this one strand is perfect and looks great. The kids love it and like to change up the lighting with the remote, which adds to the fun (assuming you aren't a Grinch and your kids are not overly annoying). I highly recommend for anyone with the older light bulbs, just get it and be done with the old bulbs.

Great color on these lights. I used them on a holiday tree and everyone loved it. Each light is a true red, white or blue and really looks great!

These lights are very bright/blue lights. The wire is also soft and easy to work with.
