Ich bin gerade dabei, im Wohnzimmer zusätzlich zu meinem 65'' LG OLED-Fernseher ein Heimkino zu installieren. Der Beamer (Epson EH-TW9400) ist noch nicht da. Kein Problem, da ich mich erst mal um die Verkabelung und die Leinwand kümmern muß. Die Auswahl des HDMI-Kabels ist nicht ganz einfach. Für meine HDMI 2.0a Geräte benötige ich ein High Speed HDMI-Kabel mit mindestens 12m Länge. Da Kupferkabel von der HDMI Organisation bisher nur bis 10m empfohlen werden, habe ich mich für ein optisches Kabel entschieden. Um zukunftssicher für HDMI 2.1 zu sein, sollte es ein zertifiziertes Ultra High Speed Kabel sein. Mein erster Versuch war gleich ein Reinfall. Das Kabel von Kabeldirekt funktionierte so lange störungsfrei an meinem Pioneer SC-LX79 AV-Receiver, bis ich am LG-Fernseher den UHD Deep Colour Modus eingeschaltet habe. Bei 4K@60Hz im Farbraum BT.2020 (HDR) traten auf einmal Flackern und Bildaussetzer auf. Nach Recherche im Avsforum habe ich dann das Kabel von Cable Matters bestellt, weil es das günstigste von den dort empfohlenen Kabeln ist. Das Kabel ist sehr gut verarbeitet aber etwas schwerer, dicker und unflexibler als das von Kabeldirekt. Aber keine Panik, das Kabel lässt sich immer noch sehr gut verlegen. Die Test sind bisher ohne Störungen durchgelaufen. Daher bin ich erst mal rundum zufrieden. Wenn sich mit dem Beamer neue Erkenntnisse ergeben sollten, werde ich die Rezension ergänzen. Mir ist schon klar, daß ich die Ultra High Speed Tauglichkeit des Kabels nicht getestet habe und meine Rezension daher begrenzte Aussagekraft hat. Ich wollte nur zeigen, wie sich das Kabel im Heimkino schlägt. Das Verhalten an Gaming-Hardware ist ja bereits in anderen Rezensionen bewertet worden.

En resumen, lo dice el título. Cable de 5 metros certificado HDMI 2.1 hay varios, pero este es el primero con el que no tengo ni una sola pérdida de imagen o audio. La historia larga: Uso una TV Samsung QN95A y un PC con una RTX 3090 a unos 4,5 metros de distancia. Probé varios cables certificados (comprobada la certificación con la app HDMI en el móvil) de 5 metros de distancia y con todos hasta ahora tenía de vez en cuando algún corte de imagen, de unos 2-3 segundos, cada cierto tiempo. Solo pasaba jugando a juegos a 119 FPS, con el VRR activado, en resolución 4K y HDR, que es lógicamente cuando más ancho de banda se usa por el cable. Buscando por internet, encontré "información" en foros (algunos como AVSForum) que hablaban de un posible bug en el firmware de mi TV, un "problema en los HDMI", y casi me lo llegué a creer. El caso es que llevo todos los cables del PC hasta la zona de la TV juntos, lo que significa que junto al cable HDMI van varios cables de alimentación 220v, varios cables de los altavoces traseros, cable de red, etc. Lo cual, supongo, hace que en tanta longitud y por muy certificados que estuvieran los cables HDMI 2.1 "convencionales", podrían ser susceptibles a alguna interferencia. Así que, antes de quedarme con la versión que se lee por internet de "los bugs de HDMI de la QN95A", me dio por probar un último cable HDMI 2.1. Y fue todo un acierto. CERO pérdidas de imagen o sonido, drop-outs o similares en numerosas horas de juego 4K HDR con VRR activado a 119 FPS. Ni un solo fallo desde que uso este cable. Así que ni "bugs de HDMI" ni historias, simplemente que 48 Gb por segundo demandan un cable en condiciones. Y este cable lo es.

I wanted to connect my PC (with RTX 3080) to TV so I can occasionally play games in living room. I opted for 10m cable as 5m would suffice but be very tight. Unlike cheaper Chinese cables that claim 48Gbps this one really does and delivers crisp and sharp image at both 4K and 8K. I use the cable with same brand 8K DP to HDMI 2.1 converter as my GPU has only one HDMI port and I use that for KVM. My setup is GPU to DP to HDMI converter and then this cable running to Marantz 1711 8K AVR and Marantz is connected to Sony Z9H 8K TV using Sony Premium HDMI cable. In case anyone runs to same issue - had blackouts and flicker but resolved that by turning off G-Sync (which I guess is supported by DP to HDMI converter but not either AVR or TV). I also recommend setting color model to usual 4:4:4. At least with Z9H there’s noticeable lag with enhanced format (which is absolutely no issue with cable but rather TV itself or AVR as it works fine with my gaming monitor).

Se cercate un cavo da utilizzare per avere un output in 4k 120Hz questo è perfetto, funziona alla grande con setup composto da RTX 3090 e LG C1 oled utilizzando la velocità massima della porta HDMI 2.1. Il prezzo non è neanche così eccessivo considerando che cavi simili di 10m non certificati qui su Amazon costano 80€ e questo con certifica 89€.. Consigliato ovviamente solo se si ha un setup che giustifica il cavo..
