Stoped working after second use

I eased this on my door it can’t be opened without a code beennput in

DO NOT BUY THISI purchased this to replace one I had ordered and thought was defective because the code mechanism didn't work. The replacement had the same problem so I thought maybe I was doing something wrong so took it to a locksmith. He was unable to look at for for a while due to busy then in holiday but confirmed yesterday that it is defective. Now Amazon won't deal with is as it is beyond return date - VERY disappointing considering how much I use Amazon.

After deciphering the Egyptian instructions and fitting the lock securely on both my front and back gate (we bought two) the product has lasted about 6 months. The mechanism has broken on both locks. The bolt will not release and the whole device is defective. One lock would be a coincidence but both breaking in the same way is not good, especially for the cost. This is not a cheap item and should not have broken this soon
