Too Expensive for the Home Consumer with Hidden Fees!
The Expresso bike is a great piece of equipment & technology, very innovative! However IFH Holdings is pricing this bike WAY TOO HIGH for the Home Consumer in my opinion and I'm pretty sure they are still trying to eek out $300+/Annual fee for the Expresso Live memberships which allows you to track all of your data online and compare your stats to everyone else in the community. I just noticed in the product description that they are offering this service for FREE for 3 years, but they failed to mention the value so consumers know what they will be paying to continue the service in 3+ years after they purchase it. This is the same fee they charge gym owners as well! This product has the potential too very successful in the home environment, if they were fix their pricing models for the Expresso Live Membership as well as the Price for the bike itself. I think this bike should retail the for $3799! and include the Expresso Live Membership FOREVER! The Gym owners get advertising out of it, home users don't. Plus Gym owners have hundreds of people using the bike, versus just a few for the home consumer.I've heard from a few gym owners that the pricing for repairs are very expensive and delayed, however - this was from over a year ago, so I'm not sure if that has changed much. But hey, if you have $8,000+ sitting around and you don't mind paying another $300/year for the Expresso Live membership after your 3 free years of this service, I would recommend this product to you...but for those of you that are borderline on the price, I would wait until they bring down the price of the bike. You would be better off trying to find a used one on Ebay or from a gym owner, but you still have to worry about the Expresso Live Fee. Nobody want's to buy a piece of home equipment for this high of a price and have to pay an additional $300 annual fee to get the most out of it. That is ridiculous!I love the Expresso bike, it's a great piece of equipment and it's extremely fun to exercise on, however for me... it's priced too high!! and the actual cost of the Expresso Live membership is not listed under the product description and they should be.

I share the same sentiment with previous review from Curtis ...
I share the same sentiment with previous review from Curtis Dove. I'm not a cyclist but ever since using this machine I may start. This equipment helped me stay in shape as I was dealing with back issues from playing basketball. I want to purchase for my father who also was an avid basketball player(now retired) but needs the mental stimulation that this equipment brings with the comparative analysis and performance tracking features. One of the bet equipment hands down but the price is just too high. I'd maybe purchase at the price Curtis mentioned but the 300 annual fee after three years Is tough

Great for use at health club or YMCA . . . not so much for home use ($$$)
I ride this model 4-5 times a week at a local YMCA and find it interesting and productive. I would give it a 5-star rating based on quality of my experience at the Y. I would love to own one of these bikes but the purchase price + membership after year 3 + maintenance cost makes this an impossible product to own for people of modest financial resources (we're retired).

Great Addition to your Home Gym if you can afford it. Just wish I could!
Decided to build up my home Gym as I've grown tired of commercial Gyms. The Expresso Recumbent was a piece of equipment featured in the Gym I had been working out in. I loved it! Great workout that keeps your mind occupied and pushes you as hard as you want it to. But the price to buy one for home is pretty high. If you can afford it the Expresso is amazing! I would highly recommend!

Rip off
Should give it zero stars. I did not buy this product for one reason: too bloody expensive! I contacted the company ad asked about financing because, like all people, I do not have 8000 dollars sitting around for a stationary bike! Some kid answered and said I could go on their payment plan. When I added how much I would pay over the years it was over 10,000 dollars! When I emailed the kid back I received no answer. No thanks, not for me!
