My 11 yo was completely absorbed putting it together. Lego is a fantastic company -- directions are clear, pieces are sturdy, and result is fun to play with.

If Nexo Knights are your thing, Jestro's volcano is worth every penny. My seven year old was able to assemble this independently. The trap doors, booby traps and tiny minions make it impossible to infiltrate this fortress! Jestro can even keep an eye on his enemies from the bath, thanks to his surveillance windows. After his bath, Jestro can send a servant downstairs to get him a snack, complete with fresh eggs laid by his resident hen. Santa scored big time with this gift!

I cannot recommend this set highly enough! A massive and sturdy playset, easily measuring a foot or more in both height and length when fully assembled. Beautifully designed, with black, crimson and transparent orange bricks giving the set the appearance of an animated volcano brought to life. Many really fun features as well, including the spinning lava beast at the castle's base, a collapsing walkway and breakaway prison and library walls add an awesome touch. This is definitely a set that you should seriously consider, whether or not you happen to be a fan of the Nexo Knights line or cartoon series because the piece is versatile enough to function in any fantasy or castle-based theme. The set also comes with multiple vehicles for the knights, 8 minifigures and a little Book of Monsters which is super-cool. Don't let this set get away!

Great, big set. Lots of features and functions. Things move, spin, pop out. Great all around toy. And being Lego, kids can change it and add to it as they like ... to do that, though, just make sure you have ALOT of spare bricks :)

1st one came in opened and missing parts, sent back for replacement.2nd one came in in worse shape taped together with prime tape missing whole bags of legos. Returned and received no replacement or refund!!! Im out $350.00 dollars now

Our 8 year old son trembled with excitement when he opened this present on Christmas morning. He spent all afternoon putting it together. It is as pictured when finished. Really cool to look at and lots of fun pieces of the castle, weapons and figures, to play with. He and his 6 year old sister have been enjoying playing with it. I have a feeling we'll be buying more Nexo Knights Lego sets in the future.

Our grandsons reported to us that they were carefully putting together the set. It occupied their time and they worked together very well. The boys are 11 and 9. They have done several of these very complex sets before. Lego has grown so much since the boys' mom was little. They teach children patience, help them to focus, spur imaginations and occupy them creatively.
