I have been blessed with beautiful grey hair and tried all the shampoos on the market that were blue to keep my grey white. To my horror every one of the products that are advertised just for grey hair were just that but blue. To my horror I am allergic to each and every one by the time I went to bed I was scratching my scalp raw. Not knowing what to do I was looking for baby shampoo when this advertisement caught my eye but the price wasn’t in my budget range. After a few days I relented and bought a bottle. The shampoo was well packaged for shipping and I couldn’t wait to try it. The shampoo is clear and not heavy and lathered up beautifully. Now here was my acid test I didn’t wash my hair again for a full month. My hair is manageable and the color of my hair was beautiful without any yellowing and no itching or burning. After that acid test I wash my hair weekly and no shampoo problems not once. With those results I backed down and bought a second back up bottle. If your having problems with your shampoo give this brand a try you may be pleasantly surprised as I was. One thing use less shampoo than you normally would with this product less is more. Try this shampoo once and you’ll be surprised your hair color will be outstanding and absolutely manageable. Buy it you’ll love it!!!

I have a kinky, tightly-coiled salt and pepper afro (trying to give as many details as I can!), and I got tired of the purple shampoos. They either smell like perfume, plastic or a lavender sachet. This shampoo has a very faint citrus smell that’s pleasant, and it’s very moisturizing. Sulfate-free with all natural ingredients has always been a plus for me too. My hair stains over time due to my stylers, so I needed to find something to use a few times a month. I used it with the conditioner and I was so happy with the results—softer texture and brighter silver and white strands.

It checks all the boxes. I have the most sensitive skin. I have to be so careful with the products I bring in the house. I was so pleased with my first shampoo. It has no overwhelming smell, the color of my hair was perfect, and the most important thing, it did not break my scalp out.

I read all the hype and really wanted to try this shampoo. It did leave my hair in good condition and shiny but very disappointed in the ‘white’ promise for my gray hair which attracted me to this product.

This shampoo works fine and has a very nice fragrance, a very light and subtle citrus aroma. I have white hair and this doesn't discolor it, the John Frieda Volume shampoo is wonderful, as well.

I have mostly white/gray hair that is dry on the ends, I'm trying to grow it long. It has a bit of yellow on the ends so I was hoping this would help blend it in. It isn't doing too bad of a job, it's less noticable and the ends are smooth. My only complaint, if that's what you want to call it, is my hair so so soft and silky now it doesn't hold a curl! I've only used it 3 times, with my old thickening shampoo in between a couple of times so the jury is partially out. We'll see with more uses what the verdict is.
