Very weak suction
I bought a large metal Airscape container for my coffee beans, and it works great. The ceramic one that is smaller has very weak suction, I don't think it is airtight. I am going to contact the company to see if I can get a replacement or refund.

Great product
My wife loves this for air tight coffee bean storage.

Looks great, could seal better
I own a stainless steel version of this product and the seal is superb. This one looks much better, I prefer storing the coffee beans in ceramic but this doesn’t seal as well.

Attractive but flawed - better for whole beans than ground coffee
A sleek streamlined design was exactly what I hoped for. The interior vacuum-sealed lid was a bonus and much of my frustration is with this element. The idea is good, but doesn't work for me. The inside lid is difficult to manage - it operates smoothly but must be done with considerable care each time to keep it level as it slides into the canister. If inserted level, when closing the handle (locking the vacuum), very easy to press one side down - no longer flush, releasing air and defeating its very purpose. You could push the sealing lid all the way yo the grounds but this creates an enormous mess. When the lid is in contact with the grounds, especially when a vacuum is set, pulling up the lid pulls the grounds with it. If you remove the lid with any speed, grounds shoot out of the canister. When the lid is in contact with the grounds they cling to the lid and as soon as you set it down on the counter or elsewhere, grounds are everywhere. This is less of a concern if you are keeping whole beans, of course. But it takes a light hand and more attention than I want to give to insert and remove the interior lid and to avoid a considerable mess - especially if I am setting up coffee at the last minute. My work-around to keep grounds fresh is to remove the interior lid completely and use a sheet of plastic wrap to help the decorative lid seal better. In short, messy and not functuoning the way I hoped, but looks great! Will work better for beans or other storage than ground coffee.

Coffee bean saver
The color is nice and bright. It’s nice and heavy. I bought the ceramic one. But the inner lid does not seem to be as tight as the stainless steel one that I got from breville. This will do the job though. It’s larger than I expected. I basically bought it for the coffee beans I keep at work. I think it will work as intended. I’m sure it will work better than just keeping the coffee inside the bag that it came in .
