Price is quite expensive and an online demo of the product will help as color is the key here.

Excellent Quality
It is the perfect replacement for all energel pens. The black is smooth, dark, and clean.

Very good ink
The ink for these pens is great - very smooth and works perfectly in both my energel-x pens and my energel sterling pen. there is a small cap on each of the refills to prevent them from drying out, and each refill is well constructed - I have had absolutely no issues with any of them so far and have gone through about 20+ of these pens/refills.However, the packaging of these refills is a little wasteful - each individual refill is packaged in what seems to be non-recyclable plastic, and the refills themselves will definitely be difficult to recycle. The box is, however, recyclable. The ink itself does not last the longest time - I find myself running out after about 50-ish a4 pages of writing. It is also not the fastest drying ink when compared to ballpoints, and so left handed people may have problems, but for a gel pen it is very decent.Overall great quality refills, just wish they could last a little longer, and be packaged in paper or something recyclable if they have to be individually packaged at all

Sorted complaint satisfactorily
*UPDATE*After emailing seller (in Sept), not expecting response, just to say how disappointed I was, they offered refund or to send full order. I opted for order and it came. I'm satisfied and was pleasantly surprised by their helpfulness and prompt action. (I did have to pay a customs charge but that's not their fault)P.S. You can often now get 12 BL77 pens for similar price to 12 of the more expensive colour refills (i.e. not black or blue which are usually cheaper anyway). Depends if you want to recycle...!Previous review:Very disappointed and angry, with myself too. I've been using these refills for about 6 or 7 years and annually reorder BUT I'll be VERY wary in future. I didn't look at the reviews because I know the product.I ordered (for the first time) more than one. I thought I'd be getting 24 refills for the price. Received this morning: TWO Individual refills (NOT BOXES OF REFILLS).CAUGHT, TRICKED, AND P*SSED OFF.I ALWAYS read the info VERY carefully and the picture was definitely of a BOX.I now have 2 very expensive refills.

Now with added plastic!
I've loved these refills for a few years. I chose them to minimise plastic waste. But when the world is cutting back on plastic, Pentel seem to be doing the opposite. Cardboard box - gone, it's now a plastic bag. Small individual plastic wrappers - now doubled in size. And each nib now has a little plastic sheath (so an extra 12 bits of plastic!) that is totally unneeded. Unless the packaging gets better, I won't be buying these again. Come on Pentel - get your environmental act together!

Perfect refill for TUL needle point retractable gel pen
I've been buying the TUL brand of pens in packs of four and used they sparingly due to difficulties finding them to buy.Found I had 4 pens that had run out of ink and figured it's time to look for a refill.Saw these mentioned as an option on one of the forums.Perfect fit for the TUL needle point gel pen. Easy to replace and great value for money.I received a pack of 12 refills as advertisedNow all I need is for people to stop pennapping them!

12 black refills
I think the problem here is that the booking you can see on Amazon is not for one product but they've tried to put a bunch of products in one place. It's very hard to differentiate between them and keep track of how many individual refills you're getting. In addition when I looked at the number of products it said 1, but what it meant was 1 box. Some colours seem to have only one refill, others more, although the price doesn't always seem to reflect that. All very confusing. In any case. I went for the 12 black refills, and I'm delighted to say that's exactly what I got. These pens are my absolute favourites and I'm so glad I can finally get refills.
