Installation was pretty easy and it works great!

I bought this to replace my Pioneer 7 inch unit in my work vehicle. I do a lot of driving up and down the east coast and wanted a bigger screen. I looked at the Alpine Halo units, but, it's hard to justify spending 5 times as much for one of those as opposed to this unit. Took me about an hour to install in a 2016 Ford Transit 150. Already head the dash kit and wiring adapter from the previous head unit, just had to splice the wires together, install the microphone and fit in the dash. After turning the display on, wow! very impressed. The size increase is great, the resolution is very good, sure, not full HD but for what its for it is more than enough. Sound is very good, I adjusted the EQ to fit to my tastes and I am very impressed. Uploaded my own background (not pictured), set the FM presets, changed the RGB lighting to blue to match the rest of the lights in the vehicle and set up is finished. I use Android auto from my personal phone, but also have Apple Carplay on my work phone. Both look great on this screen. I am looking forward to seeing how this holds up and using it on the road. With an Amazon discount of 20% I paid around $275 for this and honestly, I don't think you could find anything better anywhere near this price. Sure, it's not an Alpine Halo, but it's also not $1000 - $1500 and I can live with that :-)

First of all, I just installed this a day or so back, so this is my brand-new opinion which is why I've given an average middle rating to begin, I will update according to my experience over time.I bought this to replace the stock radio in my 2013 Civic, mainly for a navigation upgrade since I was tired of using my phone on maps. The side perk was that my audio significantly improved overall as well. I used to have a Bluetooth delay of around 2 seconds per interaction, this unit completely removed that so that's nice.The touch screen is functional, a bit jarring going from a 120hz phone display to about 30hz, might be 60hz but I doubt it. It is perfectly acceptable for when you aren't using it to browse or scroll a lot. I'm not bashing, merely observing. I don't expect 120hz at this price point.The brightness is bright enough for daytime use, but when night come it does not dim well, you will find it hard to ignore when it burns your eyes at night. This is not hyperbole; the screen does not dim so you will have to figure out a solution for extended nighttime use. Imagine putting your phone to about 80% brightness at night when you are trying to adjust to the dark, that is all.This is a solid unit for the $300 mark, you won't be blown away. You will probably only be getting this because your vehicle is already lacking such basic technologies as maps and Bluetooth/CarPlay.

Nice looking and very well designed audio sytem. The back up camera was also a BOSS camera seems to be decent but not 4k clear. The stereo functions are very good. Loud, and alot of extras!!!

I received the radio and got it installed. That was the best part. I obviously spent extra for wireless android auto. Well the wireless worked for about 3 or 4 hours. I've reset the radio and my phone as week as factory reset on both and have had no luck getting it to reconnect. I have tried wired and it works so I know it's not the function of android auto. I also checked a different phone. Still didn't work. So it's only the wireless function. Seriously disappointed considering i paid so much extra to specifically have wireless.

Just got done with the installation. The head connection seems pretty solid and good enough for a 4 wheeler so long as the base is mounted solid the head will stay solid. The movement of the head is good and tight. Install went well. UI is somewhat lacking and is kind of plain. The sound is decent, no complaints for the wattage it puts out. The supplied microphone is ok, no issues running it through testing. Screen is responsive most of the time but seems to lag a tiny bit here and there. The camera quality is so-so it does NOT accept AHD recording which would be a much higher quality and many cameras are capable of including the two I installed with the stereo.Finally, the thing that knocks a whole star off by itself on this review is the fact that it is android play ONLY with a wired connection. Even though they say it does. Without a wired connection, it resorts to the normal Bluetooth phone and music that most stereos have but with a reduced sound quality that is very very noticeable. It also has no mirror mode that other stereos of this type have. Having mirror mode would really have been a good thing.
