Excellent hygiene, said my dentist!
Was overdue on dental appointment by six months so well due a clean and polish but my dentist complimented on my oral hygiene after using this for just a couple of weeks!I mostly use the sensitive setting and after using it at least 4 times a day for the full 2 mins I didn’t have to charge up for almost a month first time. Had it for two months now and very happy with my purchase and the quality of the product and design. Keeps much cleaner than my old basic Oral B electric because it’s streamlined with no grooves to get toothpaste stuck. The strong vibration is a bit weird to get used to but really effective even with the soft compact brush head (which hasn’t deteriorated at all so far). Great toothbrush which came in smart, simple and well-designed packaging too.

Outstanding customer service
I’ve been using my Spotlight toothbrush for over a year and while I’ve found it to be good, I’ll admit I wasn’t especially committed to sticking with the brand. The toothbrush works well, but it didn’t blow me away. That all changed recently when the toothbrush stopped working about a month ago, and I reached out to customer service. I was lucky enough to be helped by Lara – and I honestly can’t say enough good things about her.Lara was incredibly friendly, efficient, and responsive. She didn’t bombard me with questions or make the process difficult. Instead, she handled everything smoothly and quickly, and got a replacement sent out without any fuss – well over a year after I originally bought the product! It was, hands down, the best customer service experience I’ve had in years. Because of her, I’ll absolutely be sticking with Spotlight. Great products are important, but exceptional service like this is what really earns long-term loyalty. Lara, you’re a star – thank you again!

Good but not perfect.
So far, (1 month of daily use) the performance of this toothbrush is easily on a par with my previous branded electric toothbrushes. The oscillations per minute are higher and, in my opinion, appear to clean my teeth more thoroughly. However, there is a design flaw which I find very irritating and therefore prevents me from giving this toothbrush a perfect 5 stars. When cleaning my teeth and manoeuvring the brush head around my mouth, the barrel of the toothbrush is so smooth and polished that it easily slips out of my grip thereby preventing accurate positioning of the brush head in the area I want to clean. A simple rubberised surface to the outer barrel would elevate this problem entirely.Another minor gripe I have found is that the bristles on the brush head are too soft but that is a personal preference - I can live with that.

I simply don’t get the hype
I was lured away from my faithful Oral B toothbrush by a Daily Telegraph article that tested electric toothbrushes and declared this one as “as near perfect as it could be”.Well, having tried it for 2 weeks, I’m simply not convinced. Apart from the fact that it feels like you have an angry wasp in your mouth, subjectively, my teeth didn’t feel any cleaner. It’s actually quite a basic electric toothbrush with no bells or whistles and lacking even a pressure sensor, something the DT test marked another toothbrush down for not having. It even seems to lack a battery level indicator. The three “speed” options are Clean / white / sensitive. Does that mean if I select White, my teeth are not cleaned properly, or indeed if I select clean, they won’t remain white? It’s just confusing.Having now returned it (Thank You Amazon for your amazing refund facility) I am very relieved to revert to my faithful Oral B (with pressure sensor) and 3 stage battery level indicator.

Better than a manual....by far!!
Having been told recently that manual brushing is no longer good enough, decision to go electric was made.Well beyond better is more accurate.2 minute's is all it takes for the 4 parts of you teeth/mouth to clean.Flossing is also added and the result after 10 days of being told this and going back for 2 crowns prepped and 1 filling was pink gums, cleaner teeth and a bio pocket that the ultra sonic got into and cleaned.Done twice a day for 24 days to crowns being fitted has resulted in far better oral hygiene than a manual can provide.Well impressed.Reduces gum disease and decay that manual brushing just doesn't touch.Superb design, well worth the investment⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

effective
Following my dentist's advice to get a better toothbrush, I bought this Spotlight. It is ergonomic and easy to use in either hand. It's three functions, clean, whiten, sensitive are all delivered via the on button, pressing quickly once, twice or three times respectively. If you accidentally go past the function you want, it is easy to go round again. The ultrasonic brushing produces a remarkable sense of cleanliness. It halts temporarily if too much pressure is applied and automatically times out when you have brushed for sufficient time. I have not yet had to recharge it after a nearly two weeks. It is easy to clean. It is deliberately designed to stimulate salivation while brushing, so some care is needed to purse lips around the brush to reduce spraying, but the brush head and stem are designed really well to make this easy enough.
