bamixBeaker, 600ml, Transparent

Needed a beaker to go with my stick blender, the beaker does what it should and I like that it comes with a lid.

Couldn't find a replacement for my Baum beaker so tried this. But, although both are labeled 600 cc, the Baum beaker has a wider diameter and is taller, has a large head space above the 600 cc mark. My Baum blender is a tight fit inside this Bamix beaker giving little room for movement of food, and shorter height makes it tricky to avoid splashes out of beaker. In other words, not a satisfactory substitute, I had to find a different alternative. It was very hard to find Baum replacement but I did eventually. But, this beaker is very useful as a simple measuring beaker and also good for ingredients that only need a light mixing with a spoon or fork, ie eggs into milk.

I quite often heat milk in microwave, nowhere near boiling, but after perhaps six uses the plastic was buckled and difficult to clean. Still looking for a genuine braun replacement part. This isnt it.

This arrived today, and for £10 I was expecting a decent beaker, perhaps something a bit similar to the one Braun used to do with their stick blender which was very sturdy. Anyway this is terrible: incredibly flexible and worst made from plastic type number seven which leeches bisphenol A finally which is a known carcinogen. So I would strongly suggest not purchasing this and really wish I hadn’t.
