Good quality complete install instructions and hardware needs re engineered big gap between bumper and body I kept a 3in strip attached between the two side panels

This bumper arrived in flawless condition which means it's shipped in lot's of protection. The installation was very easy and only had to cut the corners of the original bumper cover. Doing this make it look like it was original to the truck. Very sharp and good looking not to mention much more protection than the plastic junk that was originally there. It has cut outs for the rear sensors which saved me the hassle of having to drill them out. I removed the screens and mounted flood lights although the bumper also looks good with the screens.

This is a nice looking bumper. Very sturdy. But it is not a clean fit and I'm not referring to the need to cut parts from the bumper removed. That was a known up front. I'm referring to it not fitting directly up against the vehicle. Standing at the rear there is close to 2" clearance between the bumper and the vehicle so you have a view of the ground between it. I cut my old bumper as directed prior to realizing this or I would have done it in a fashion to retain enough of it to slide under then new bumper so to completely hide this. I will now have to come up with another way to achieve this. The second issue is there is no mention that the new bumper attaches to the frame where my hitch was at. So I had to lose my hitch in order to install. I'll have to have the hitch supports cut down and the frame attachments welded back on. I'm not a welder so this is be an additional unexpected cost.
