Brutal and Incredible
Decided to purchase both seasons on blu ray for my second watch through. The beautiful visuals and sound design were unlike anything I'd ever seen. From Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls and Samurai Jack it feels like I've grown up with Tartakovsky, and his brand of storytelling continues to keep me engaged.

Genndy does it again!
If it has his name, you know the show is going to be a smash hit. Definitely takes on a darker tone compared to his prior works, but I guess the last season of Samurai Jack helped Genndy to really let loose his inner beast.

Simply the best animated series I have ever seen!
This series made me do something I have never done before. I watched 6 episodes of season 1 (which was free) and decided I couldn't live without a physical copy and had to support this series, so I ordered the Blu-ray. I am already a big dinosaur fan but this show is unlike anything out there. The art style is extremely well done and the story is brutal and gripping. Please do yourself a favor and watch Primal. I can't wait for season 3.

Life In The Silence
I've never seen a show so confidently stand in its own realm, leave it to the creator of Samurai Jack to conseptualize it.VISUALS:-Gorgeous. Very artisticly expressed and full of emotion and style.AUDIO:-The absence of music is genius, leaving all of the focus on detail sounds of the world. They build one of the strongest atmospheres in television, be it live action or animated. Phenomenal mixing and sound design.STORY:-Very violent, very passionate, this pulpy adventure lightly touches on fantasy in all the right ways, giving more room to have fun with the very charismatic leads.This is a turn the lights off, crank the volume up, get comfortable with your favorite snacks and get immersed in another world that will entertain you with its chacter arcs, danger and endless amounts of blood.

Just awesome! A '2-buddies' story with a difference ...
This is a great, almost iconic, animated series aimed squarely at adults (mostly due its dark tone and the violence of the world the 2 leading characters live in). Genndy Tartakovky is a genius. I would never have thought that an animated drama program without any speaking or subtitle words could be so compelling. And starring a caveman and a dinosaur, no less! I love it.[I didn't like Series 2 as much, or really at all very much - unlike lots of other people ...].
