Sach Kahun Toh: An Autobiography

Horrible book in a horrible condition!
This book was as horrible inside in terms of content as it was on the outside, with its stained cover and back cover! The writing was completely amateurish and there were numerous grammatical errors and even a few swear words in there! The book is disjointed and repetitive, and adds absolutely nothing inspiring or uplifting to the reader's life. If you're thinking of buying this book to hear about the love story of Vivian Richards and Neena Gupta, forget about it! She only devotes a page to it, and that too in very vague terms! She says she's telling the truth, but it's clear she's edited it and manipulated the "truth" in a way that shows her as the unfortunate damsel in distress, mostly leaving out her role in anything that could have led upto her supposed struggles. Ultimately, she comes across as a very selfish woman who only did what she wanted to do, without caring how it affected others in her life, be it her own blood relatives or even her own child. I wish I hadn't wasted my time reading this book and would advise others to spend their valuable time reading something of substance than the petty matters of some minor league actress.

A dignified and Graceful Journey of an Evolved Soul and a Torchbearer
A beautiful book written articulately with dignity and grace..a very fine balance between revelation and concealment to respect the privacy of others..love the style, easy to read and exemplary narrative..the trials and tribulations and the way Neena Gupta responded to her challenges deserve salute and respect..than you Madame, you are a role model and torchbearer for humanity..thank you for the word 'faffing', you love using it..keep smiling and live on your own terms.. with best regards.. An Ok book.
Neena Gupta's journey has been filled with challenges beyond the capacity an average woman can bear. I salute her amazing grit and never-give-up attitude, and she has proved age is just a number and it should not be a reason to stop dreaming. However, the book could have been edited better especially when it's coming from Penguin. Language is just average, so if you are a reader who is looking for a perfect language and writing style, you will be disappointed. Also, there is a lot of repetition of content and it made me wonder whether Neenaji had forgotten what she had written in each chapter as she proceeded with her writing! Since she is not a professional writer, it was the basic job of publishers to do a proper editing before publishing. Quite surprised to see Penguin didn't bother to do that!
